And for the final pick of the week, I'll take Golden Tate.

Anybody have a favorite team , outside of your own of course?

They all seem relatively close but I would give slight nod to jeaton6
I'd agree. First impulse was to like bamac's team but jeaton6's is likely slightly better.I like mine least but I'm just happy to be here still. If harvin plays this could be close.
Agreed it's going to be really close this week. I'd go with Bamac and Stephen. I took 2nd slot assuming I'd get Crabtree and vereen would be gone. I think Stephen got real value there. If Bamacs TEs put up average numbers he's almost a lock for finals and if Denver and SF win he's going to be really tough to beat. Such a huge advantage with Davis and Thomas. If harvin plays (and gets decent amount of snaps) Fubars right there.
Good call. I debated Vereen/Crabtree. Right choice and I'd be joining you in the finals. Enjoy the final round!

Thanks. Going to be tough to beat Peyton and Marshawn. Don't beat yourself up too much. If you had taken vereen I was 95% going crabs and then Stephen goes boldin and he actually ends up putting up 90+ and I think edges you out by 2 points or so. Final is going to be really close. So many offsets going to occur. Assuming we'll wait to draft until middle of next week to make sure we have decent injury info?

I assume you mean wait until middle of Super Bowl week. Might as well just draft on Friday of Super Bowl week. There's only about 4 picks each (since QB is done, and Defense and Kicker are done as soon as the first one is taken)

If the live scoring is correct

Jeaton6 and Holloway advance

very close scoring between #2 and #4

jeato6 105.35

Holloway 88.7

bamac 84.05

fubar 83.75

thank you Mr. Manning with a salute to Marshawn Lynch on that 40 yd TD run

My preference is to wait till later than we have been. Based primarily on work load as I am really busy all this week, particularly Tuesday through late Friday, but again next week on Monday through Thursday. If we wait till Friday next week all that will be behind me AND we will making more certain calls based on injuries and availability.

Start draft a week from Friday sound ok?

Yes. Agreed. Let's declare keepers the day before. Mine are locked in unless knowshon injury an issue.

Prater, den Wilson.

Went exactly as expected, though secretly hoped you might go harvin ilo welker or decker! Only thing I had been mulling was going miller ilo harvin at flex to stick you with tamme. Will see if that makes a difference.

Well done Stephen. If you would have told me the def/pk choices were a 66 point swing I would have called you crazy!

Congrats Stephen. Forgot to come back in here and see who had Seattle D. This one reminded me of the Raider/Buc Super Bowl... defense wins championships for sure!

Need to draft with my brothers......

Money leagues mostly going well, teams are pretty much on auto pilot.

Out in survior leagues. :ptts:

Treading water @ Fandual. :deadhorse:

So I ask, What can we do for a playoff type draft?

Anyone else?

Ideas?
I'm in for this.

My suggestion: a weekly draft with keepers and knockouts - 8 teams wild card weekend, 6 teams divisional round, 4 teams championship round, 2 teams super bowl, standard FBG survivor scoring and lineups, no reserves. Can keep 2 players each week from the prior week.

Draft would be serpentine. WC weekend all draft spots would be picked randomly, but after that, teams would choose which spot they want - that order would be based on the prior week's scoring (so the high scorer would choose their slot first, etc.)
Who's up for this again? :hey:

Well, championship must be defended, but huge busy and unable to orchestrate but happy to participate
I probably could run it but will need guidance on how to do so.

six...

can someone run this this year? I'll be out of touch for most of the day Wednesday which is probably when we should start drafting.

Ref is in. That makes 7 which should be workable. Cut three after two weeks.

Probably need to start this tomorrow.

Count me in if still open. Heads up though I live in China so could slow things down a bit so understand if don't want deal with potential delay.

agreed.

I can't access MFL at work but if nobody else can get to it, I'll try to set it up after the kids go to bed.

so that's 7, assuming we do a decent job with pre-selects and being quick, we should be fine if we start 0900 central tomorrow.

4 hour clock the first few rounds then assess if we need to cut to 2?

ETA: if someone else wants in, cool. But I kind of like that one QB/K/D won't be taken.
