I think I believe him over the media (1 Viewer)

I believe Roddy. Duh is a great player but it's obvious he takes cheap shots, late hits, etc; Everytime I watch him play he's in shoving matches, more with him than others, they all do it but seems it's extremely common with him.

The guy's a mongoloid. I used to work with a guy of this type. Dumb as a rock and looks to get into any fight he can.

Suh needs to be checked. He almost broke Ryans neck- if the NFL doesn't suspend players w/out pay for a game or more at a time it won't be taken seriously.

He is mean and crosses the line. Now he's saying what Ryan got waskarma

Somewhere an old Defensive Tackle by the name of "Mean" Joe Green is looking to put the pads back on because of these very statements.

I love Suh as a player but this is now the what, 4th or 5th time accusations like this have come his way? When coincidences become commonplace, there is more to it than just coincidence. There's an issue. I'm inclined at this point to believe that many of these accusations about him have a lot of truth behind it. It's really unfortunate because he's such a great player and seems like a good person off the field. He's got to control his emotions better during the game though. This isn't your 1970's NFL.

Love this game of he said he said. Without the context, we don't know what is going on here. How many times have you guys made a snappy comment when someone goes down (put him in a body bag, bring out the cart) only to find out the injury was more serious than you thought and then feel bad?

I'm gonna KILL anybody that disagrees with me!

Im shocked the Detroit fan would believe Suh.

Now, I do believe Suh and others about Atlanta's Oline being dirty (Packers players mirrored the same things after their game with them).

I find Suh to be pretty tame by historical standards of pass rushers. He doesn't seem to do a lot of taunting. He doesn't really look that mean. Dude just gos out and motors after QBs. I believe Lyle Alsado was high on pcp half the time and was a menace on and off the field. Mike Singletary would fish eye the QB like he was gonna stick a shiv in his back if he got ahold of him. A lot meaner guys than Suh in todays game too. Ray Ray looks like an escaped mental patient off his meds behind the line, twitching,

spitting, and bobbing back n fourth. Clay Matthews looks like a case of roid rage waiting to happin. Vandenvosch wears red eyes. Suh looks likes a yolked up version of fat Albert. He gets to the qbs and throws em down and dings em in the head, but honestly, I've seen 200 lb safeties lay harder licks on the qb than Suh.

He does sport that look.
R3tard strength. Goodell needs to sit him down before he ends some QBs season.
Or their life.
Agreed! This man needs to be locked up and put into prison before someone gets dismembered. You hear this, Goodell? You want the blood from Tim Tebow's lifeless body drying on YOUR HANDS next week? Do want to watch Timmy Tebow's head get ripped off and see Suh send Timmy to heaven prematurely!?Someone DO SOMETHING before this idiot, genetically dis formed, Graduated Engineering student dismembers all the position players in the NFL!

This is the NFL..Pro-Football this is not the Polo Club, or Saturday morning Croquet. Talk has been going on forever in this violent sport. Today players have been babified and always whine and cry to the media. Who cares what players say..if anything was said at all.

Play the game...a Viking player kicked a Packer player as hard as he could in the nuts on Sunday.

Suh and many Lion players were interviewed yesterday and said that never happened..Suh did say it was "Karma" that a Falcon player took his own QB down after all the chop blocks they use. During the week in practice Avril said Schwartz had a film of all the chop blocks used by the Falcon o-line from this season and warned his d-line to be careful.

Brought up during the game and after...is a nut shot the same as a punch? Should he have been ejected? In the locker room after the game, Lang said he asked the ref who was not quite sure.

Sorry for the hijack.

That is what I am saying..it was a violent kick to the nuts. Who cares what people say during a game?

Who cares what he said or who's feelings he hurt?

Atlanta is soft but took it to Detroit anyway. It's about time Suh started dominating like the best DL in the NFL that I've heard so many claim he is. He should be known for his play on the field, not for the things he's said or the preseason QB heads he's popped off.

I believe Rodney.
So do I. If might be different if Suh didn't have a history of questionable play in other games this year also, but he does. Where there's smoke there's fire..
Who cares?Did someone in this thread actually say "He's mean"?The Lions have been the NFL equivalent of a punchline for years. No one has taken them serious so they're pissed off, and I can't blame them all that much. Changing the culture of a team that's been so bad for so long may require some creativity. Suh is finally giving them a little bit of edge, but I still think he needs to make more happen on the field.

Let's be clear. I have no problems with the Lions having confidence and playing inspired, however, they need to control that emotion on the field and not let it translate into a myriad of personal foul flags and cheap shots. Suh is a beast and a great player, but he needs to be careful not to get the "dirty player" reputation. Twisting a QB's head and hollering for the cart after a QB goes down isn't going to earn his any brownie pts from other players. Now you might say "who cares" but the players are a pretty tight fraternity, and that's just something you don't do.

There's a lot of silly going on in this thread, but implying that different standards should apply to teams that have sucked is up there with the silliest.

I have no idea why attempting to change the culture of your losing past would be silly.

Because you're implying that the losing culture is somehow relevant to consideration of his character and on-field behavior.I don't have much of an opinion about Suh - he seems like a ######, but he's got a lot of company in the NFL in that respect. But I do know with 100% certainty that he's not more or less of a ###### because he plays for a franchise with a history of losing. You're getting paid millions to play a game, so you don't get a free pass out of ######ville because your employer hasn't won a lot.
