The Lions have been the NFL equivalent of a punchline for years. No one has taken them serious so they're pissed off, and I can't blame them all that much. Changing the culture of a team that's been so bad for so long may require some creativity. Suh is finally giving them a little bit of edge, but I still think he needs to make more happen on the field.
Let's be clear. I have no problems with the Lions having confidence and playing inspired, however, they need to control that emotion on the field and not let it translate into a myriad of personal foul flags and cheap shots. Suh is a beast and a great player, but he needs to be careful not to get the "dirty player" reputation.
Twisting a QB's head and hollering for the cart after a QB goes down isn't going to earn his any brownie pts from other players. Now you might say "who cares" but the players are a pretty tight fraternity, and that's just something you don't do.
