Teams;I wouldn't be surprised to see the Chiefs in the AFC Champ game this year, in KC. They are one of the most talented teams in the NFL now that they are healthy and they improved their roster over the offseason. Cassel will decide how far they go in the playoffs IMO. Their D will be in the top 3 this year.I wouldn't be surprised to see GB miss the playoffs this year, yeah. Chi is going to be very, very good. Det is dangerous simply because of their offense. With even the slightest improvement I the running game or on D they could win the division. Between Chi and Det, GB could finish 3rd in the division. That is far from a guarantee to make it to the post season.Players;I wouldn't be surprised to see Pettigrew finish as the top TE. He's amassed over 120 target 2 seasons in a row and will again this year. All that's been missing from him being an elite TE is TDs. Which are remarkably unpredictable. If he scores 8 -10 TDs along with 750 yds, he could be the top guy.I wouldn't be surprised to see Trent Richardson finishing the top 5 RBs, PPR only. He's Dripping with the 2 things that equate to fantasy success, talent and opportunity. The Clev situation has been greatly exaggerated in its pitiful ness. At least as it relates to Richardson.I wouldn't be surprised to see Cutler finish as a top 5 QB. He's always had elite ability. Now he has an elite weapon at WR. Not too mention a great rookie.
I'll take the under on all of these. There are just too many good teams for KC to jump to get to the top of the AFC. I don't think their defense is good enough to execute the Baltimore script.GB is head and shoulders better than the other teams in their division. Arguably the best team in the NFC. And their defense isn't likely to be 32nd in the league again (not that it prevented them from winning 15 games).I'm very bullish on Pettigrew, but TE1 is way over-optimistic. Yes the targets are there, but look at how his yards per catch compares to other TEs. He's just not as athletic as several other guys. Plus Scheffler will take a chunk of the TE balls in DET.Richardson, I have him as a candidate to be bust of the year. Already injured, bad offense, no training camp, team is going to be trailing all year, rookie QB, and on and on.Cutler could be very solid, but there are too many elite guys he'd have to leapfrog to get in the top 5.
