Based on the comments I see here, fair to see everyone in a redraft league would gladly take Olave for Hill?

Was offered that last week and passed. Now regretting it and seeing if the owner is still interested. I doubt it, but they are 0-3 and grasping at straws.

I'd take it. To be fair I'm all out of Tyreek shares after shipping him off last week, but I'm not a huge Olave fan and I'd accept that pretty fast at this point.

I wouldn't. If we knew it was the Skylar show for rest of hear then yes. We just don't know. My gut says with no Tua and no trades it's gonna be Huntley. We haven't seen what he looks like in that offense. We will this week.

For sure. Absolutely. If the starter for rest of year, he could lose every game for the rest of season. He's bad. I don't care about that. Is he able to lock on to one elite wr resulting in production? We don't know. Only thing we know for sure is that Skylar makes EVERYONE bad. Can Huntley make everyone but Hill bad? Ha ha

Olave might not be top 3, but with Thompson, Boyle, Huntley as his QB... Olave has a much higher ceiling than Hill.

I've been trying to think about the opposite side of this debate: What would I give up for Tyreek Hill in redraft? I don't have an amazing team, and (like many others) I've had some injuries. So I'd be a candidate, right?

Zero chance I would trade Rice.
I would trade Tank Dell.
I don't have him, but Olave? Maybe. I'd consider it but it wouldn't be a quick decision.
My league gives two points for XP and bonuses for long FGs. I'm not sure I would trade Aubrey.

That last one might sound dumb, but that's how one outsider values Hill for the rest of 2024. If I had Hill, I think I'd hope their QB ends up utilizing him, even in low-value targets. Even if its 7-60 each week he'd be startable in PPR. But that's probably the best-case scenario.

Keep in mind that if they're truly that bad and out of any playoff contention, every hangnail could shut a star down for the rest of the year so as not to jeopardize future seasons.

For whatever my two cents is worth (and it might not be even worth that much) McLaurin's team is full of enthusiasm and trending up, while Hill's team has all the optimism of a later season of The Walking Dead. I would suggest you consider that trade, because I think it's more likely a big McLaurin game will raise his price.

This is really hard. I don't know what to do and I have him in a lot of leagues. If you think Tua is back after the 4 game IR, he's better than everyone on this list. If you think Tua's out for the season then it depends what QB they can bring in. The QB situation basically cannot stay like this. An NFL team just won't do it. They'll get SOMEONE playing decent back there.

I just can't figure out the Tua thing. Part of me thinks he will play soon. The situation won't be "fixed" 3 weeks from now, but if he wants to risk it will waiting another month help? Will waiting 2 months help? Will waiting until next season week1 help? Won't the same risks exist then?

Tua is done IMO.. Even if he comes back, he has to have a high injury risk, and plus how will he play, this has to be on his mind..

I am just glad I am in a redraft league, Hill was my first round pick, but I can move on from him after the season. Having him in dynasty with the situation got to be tough, with his age, his contract, and QB situation.

BTW, People are dumb if they are trading Rice for Hill and you know how I feel about Rice.

Bolded is the same thing the pundits said back in 22 when he had those two concussions. In 23 he posted QB9 numbers. Playing football is clearly not the right thing to do for his long term health, but many, many people make poor decisions every single day and he's shown that he can still play at a high level.

Olave seems to be the guy. He doesn't have T. Hill's upside, more of a solid contributor who could have some ceiling weeks, but also floor weeks in that offense.

One other thought: AJ Brown.

If Brown misses this week, PHI then has a bye. AJ Brown owners may have had it with him.
