IDP Questions- Who is more ready to produce this year? (1 Viewer)

Hi all.

I'm in a 12 team IDP Dynasty league. I drafted both Jared Verse and Laiatu Latu to bolster a weak DL/DE position (due to MFL changing the player position from DE to LB on a few players the last couple years), however I have to place one of the two on my taxi squad due to roster space. Both players are currently listed as DEs on MFL. Footballguys depth chart is showing Verse as a SLB, which could change his destination on the website. If that is going to happen, then my question is answered because I need help at DE, not LB at this time.

My two questions-

1) Does anyone know if the switch will happen and the site changes Verse from DE to LB?

2) If they both remain at DE, which player is more ready to play this season?

I appreciate your responses and look forward to hearing some opinions.

First off, MFL went to true position at the behest of Davenport. So they essentially classify all edge rushers as DE. So any 4-3 DE or any 3-4 OLB will be considered DE for MFL purposes. I don't see that changing so I expect those two guys to stay at DE.

Verse looks to be a starter and I think will get more playing time where Latu has more bodies to content with for consistent playing time. He has to pass Paye, Lewis, and Odeynigbo for playing time. So I think Verse is more likely to be playable early on in the season.
