In This Episode: Sigmund Bloom, Jene Bramel, and John Norton go over the latest news and notes for IDP players. Topics include: Tedy Bruschi out for the regular season, David Harris Returns, an extended edition of Who to Start and Bench, and more!

Jene and John do a comprehensive breakdown of good and bad matchups this week for your all important semifinal matchups!

Great as always fellas.

One thing to point out, Norton said that Posluszny is a bad play against the Gore-less 49ers this week, when Pos is actually playing against the Jets this Sunday.

Good catch. I'm thinking this might change his stance because a Gore-less SF is a big difference matchup wise to NYJ.

great show guys.....this is some must see TV right here.
Thanks. I'm pretty sure all three of us have faces made for podcasting.
:goodposting:
And your sig reminded me of how much we miss WhoDat around here. Great poster in so many ways. :sadbanana:

In all seriousness though guys, I don't think the audible gets enough credit around here. I'm pretty active on the forums and a subscriber and read as much info as I can find the time to read. But the audible has really helped me stay ahead of the game this year and gave me my best dynasty finish in 3 years. I just started listening religiously this year. Traded for Boldin during the injury, traded LJ after the Denver game, carpet bombing trade offers landed me ADP. Really good stuff guys.

:goodposting: We don't post enough to offer kudos, but I'm pretty sure there are a ton of listeners who appreciate the advice.

 From this week's Eyes of the Guru:

I miss spoke on this weeks Audible when I suggested benching Paul Posluszny in week 15. When jotting down my notes I mistakenly had him playing the Niners. The Jets and their red hot running game are completely at the other end of the spectrum. Patrick Willis didn't fare very well last week when New York was pretty much shut down, but in the previous 5 games we saw opposing linebackers post 9-1, 8-1, 9-1, 16-4, 8-3, 7-1 and 8-1. That final 8-1 being Posluszny in the previous meeting to these two teams. Get him in your lineup this week.

:lmao: I don't want to be "that guy" and start piling on about this week's podcast, but I also remember hearing something about Peppers playing in the thin air in Denver this weekend. In the interest of accuracy the game between the Panthers and Broncos will actually take place at Bank of America Stadium in Carolina. It probably doesn't impact the Sit/Start choices provided. It is a minor point really because as always this week's podcast was first rate and chock full of valuable information.Keep up the great work!

Yeah, that's on me. Had that written into today's matchups column, too, before finally catching it. You're correct it that it only marginally changes my opinion about Peppers this week, but we're still extremely interested in providing correct, well-researched, insightful commentary. There's nothing minor to us. Which reminds me, our thanks to the listener who pointed out that I continually mispronounce Tedy Bruschi's name. :bag:We very much appreciate all your comments, suggestions and continued support of the show.
