Arizona Cardinals DT Walter Nolen (calf) suffered a calf injury during training and will miss some time, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon. Gannon said he does not know if the injury will force Nolen to miss the start of the regular season.

The Raiders released Wilkins (foot) on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
This news comes as a shocker, as the Raiders signed Wilkins to a five-year, $110 million dollar deal last March. Per Schefter, Las Vegas is releasing the defensive lineman with the designation of terminated vested veteran, and the organization voided the remaining $35.2 million of the guaranteed money left on his deal last month. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network adds that the Raiders and Wilkins have had an "ongoing dispute" over his foot injury, as Wilkins declined having a second surgery despite the team's request for him to go under the knife again to address the issue. Schefter reports that Wilkins filed a grievance with the NFLPA on Thursday, so it appears that the player and the organization are headed for a dispute over guaranteed money. Regardless of how that turns out, Wilkins' tenure with Las Vegas will end with him having played in just five games and tallying 17 tackles, including 2.0 sacks.

Diabete. Young guy who played last year. So-so results. Started ahead of Bush

Elandon Roberts seems like LB1, and Devin White and Pratt fighting for LB2. I would guess Pratt if forced to choose, but 3 safety looks seem like they will be a thing as they are light on CB. I'm very high on Chinn this year, I think he's going to be in favorable locations on the field. They also signed old friend Jamal Adams, and he's practicing with the LBs, so lot of moving parts.

Harmon looking the part so far.
“Derrick Harmon is already a monster,” Steelers Now beat reporter Alan Saunders wrote on July 24, live from training camp. “He started in the base defense, blew up a running play, batted down a pass, and he’s still at the very early edge of his learning curve in terms of technique and learning the defense.”
Saunders added that “[Harmon] can still get a lot better, but I think he’s in line for a special rookie season.”

Denver Broncos LB Drew Sanders (foot) suffered a tendon injury in his foot, and the ailment is expected to keep him sidelined for an extended period. He was carted off the practice field Saturday, July 26, and Sanders is not expected to return before the regular season opener Sept. 7. He and the team will decide on potential surgery in the next few days.

That sucks, love CJ. Especially brutal after signing with a new team.
The article mentions a few names to keep an eye on. "Pitre has significant experience at safety in this defense. If he shifted to safety, Arthur Maulet or Myles Bryant could be the nickel."
Pitre is the obvious one (and probably rostered everywhere) but Myles Bryant could be worth an add if he mans the nickel slot (which he played some during his time in NE).
EDIT: Bryant is only on my radar in CB required leagues.

It's weird with the Raiders, because Pratt hasn't played at either of the two LB spots that matter, but he's listed as a starter, but he's been playing like an old school SLB , on the edge. Lot of 3 LB looks this summer. Anyway, Elandon is locked in, #1 and Devin White is the other starter. In theory, he's the 2nd guy to own. But if White was to falter, which.... why would anyone expect anything else?--I assumed Pratt would be the guy. Now I'm wondering if Adams wouldn't be the guy to see those other nickel looks that matter.
White by the way has supposedly had a good camp and maybe he keeps the job.
But I'm holding Adams as a S on MFL, because those CB playing S, and S playing LB anomalies usually work out, in my experience.
You can always get a S, why not hold one for a month or so and see if you get a 3 down LB out of the deal?

Been hanging on to Kyle Dugger, to see if i can get a an off- brand Jeremy Chinn type, but he's been running with the 2s.

Grabbed White last year when he signed with Houston and my LBs are thin so I was able to hold in hopes. If he doesn’t chucklehead in Vegas he could be a find. Should get plenty of tackle opportunities there. I wouldn’t count out Adams but he will last no more than five games if I had to bet. And I wouldn’t take the over on four either. He’s had some really serious injuries and they are contact-related if I’m not mistaken. I’ll look that up.

It’s one of those preseason things - Speed looked great, but the starters didn’t play. We have no idea whether the door is open for Speed to challenge TooToo.

This should be on any Dugger owners radar. The camp and preseason news has been consistent about Dugger being demoted. Craig Woodson (R) taking a starting safety spot alongside Peppers and Hawkins. I am unsure which guy (if any) will be a startable, box-type safety.

Despite it appearing to be one of the biggest areas for opportunity this offseason, the Colts did very little to the linebacker room during the spring. They consistently cited having Carlies alongside Franklin as the biggest reason, but now, Carlies may not even be the starting WILL anymore. He injured his ankle and has been out for a couple of weeks now, but the day before, he was running with the second-team defense and getting more prominent work on special teams. Defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo has acknowledged the WILL linebacker spot is up in the air after Bachie, Cameron McGrone, and Austin Ajiake have made good impressions on the new coaching staff.

Yeah, Macri put up a preseason week 2 IDP recap that touched on this.
I hope not. I just spent a late pick for Williams over the weekend. Everything I read to that point (including Bri) was that Williams was flying all over the place and was the guy.

Looks the 3rd LB to own in NO behind Werner and the ancient Demario is Danny Stutsman. Jaylan Ford buried.
LV: Jamal Adams played behind Devin White again. Raiders played a lot of 3 LB sets, with Pratt pretty much as an edge. Anyone looking for a LB to taxi squad for a year? Tommy Eichenberg. Played the Mike behind Elandon, who is 31 years old--and on a one year deal. Eichenberg had a few little flashes the other night. He might get handed the job next year.
PHI: Jeremiah Trotter looks like he's the 4th LB, he and Jihaad started, but Trotter played longer into the 3rd.
In CLE, with Diabate banged up, he and Schweisenger didn't play. Remains to be seen who starts next to the rookie. Jerome Baker and Devin Bush started. I'm guessing it could be Baker week 1, but I dunno if I wanna count on him.
In IND, Bachie played 3 downs, McGrone subbed out. Another messy situation between Carlies, Bachie, and McGrone. Bachie and Baker (CLE) could both beat out guys simply by being healthy.
MIN: If anyone on your roster played last weekend, you can probably cut them.
CAR: Rozeboom and Wallace starters. Rozeboom could be a sneaky high scorer this year. Nick Scott looks like the other S. Could see both these CAR S scoring points.
