In the article on the main page posted today (http://subscribers.footballguys.com/2006/06valueplays_idp.php), most of the sleepers are available for in my dynasty league. Some of the undervalued guys are too.

My IDPs are as follows:

DL (start 2-3): J Henderson, A Ogunleye, T Suggs, K Udeze

DB (start 2-3): T Parrish, K Rhodes, D Whitner

LB (start 2-3): K Brooking, A Davis, C Greenway, T Spikes, Z Thomas

anyone listed as a sleeper have better value than my current players?

Depending on your scoring system, Henderson, Udeze, and Parrish are likely replacement level talent.

any of these guys better than Parrish:

Renaldo Hill (looks like he might start?)

Rashean Mathis (hes a corner though)

Anthony Henry (corner)

Corey Webster (bit of a homer pick but with Madison on the other corner, he could get picked on)

Marquand Manuel

Shaun Williams

Not on the surface. Any of them could be...I'd lean toward the three safeties first. Manuel is the only one currently starting on the depth chart right now, but either of the other two could have similar value by the time the season starts. I like Webster over the other corners.

The most notable looking at your roster is Angelo Crowell. With Spikes not coming back until week 3 and coming off a horrible injury that would be a guy I would pick-up.

Andre Carter is another player I would roster if he is availabe.

Yeah I like Carter too. I picked up Manuel, Pollard(KC), Chavous, Roman Harper, and Josh Bullocks recently. Will keep one or two.

Carter is a nice addition, but I would caution replacing Parrish as he is going to be on the field an awful lot again...........I sleep on him annually.

SF LB's have potential for nice tackle count this year as well as they may be run on a lot towards the end of the games.

Carter as an addition at whose expense? Updated DE corps: J Henderson, A Ogunleye, T Suggs, Travis LaboyCrowell looks nice, but isnt he playing SLB? Who will replace Spikes for the 2-3 weeks he is missing? I just read that Crowell is going to play SLB but I thought Spikes was going to line up there...

This has been talked about for the last couple of weeks, Posey was cut, SPikes is the new SLB and Crowell is the WLB for BUFTom

But with Crowell playing with Spikes and Fletcher - how many plays are going to come his way? Seen like he would be in a good position but with the quality of the players next to him - what is the upside there?

With the system it is a matter of who is plugged into the role more so than the talent around him. Guys like Gary Brackett, Shelton Quarles are never going to "wow" someone but are very good in this system because of what it asks them to do. In a typical 4-3 that funnels to the middle, these guys would be destoyed at the point of attack. But with this cover two which forces the ball carrier to the outside, speed is the weapon of choice for these defenders.

Crowell will be a fantastic addition at WLB because one would imagine that his explosiveness will be much better than Spikes (due to coming off injury)

All three will score, but I would guess that we see a significant drop in Spikes numbers due to the injury, missing games and postion switch. I also expect a big drop off for Fletcher and this is due to the funnelling to the outside, where Crowell will reap the rewards.

Now if I could just get Crowell

Tom
