Guys not owned in my league, and I'm intrigued by:

Erin Henderson LB MINN

Reggie Nelson S CIN

I'm new to IDP and am curious how to keep from chasing pyrite vs acquiring a regular scorer, this could be a new thread though if mods consider it to be worthwhile conversation.

The Texas ran 66 plays yesterday. That is a heck of alot of opportunity for Angerer. I didn't see that game though, how did he play? Also, Ryan Kerrigan seems to come up big in his rook debut. His instincts and athleticism are great.

I'm thinking Ladarius Webb. His 9/2/2 stats yesterday, plus his potential for return yards, looks really good.

He was killer last year, too, until he got hurt.

Beware on Webb's tackle totals. He benefited from a lot of completions while he was in coverage because the Steelers abandoned the run after they got down big.

He does have some value you as a slot blitzer on 3rd down and on returns though.

Groves was never a big DE......looks like he has slimmed down even more to play the part of WLB fulltime this year. he looks more explosive and active 2nite. who knows, maybe he found the right home and situation and the light has came on for him

What about Bryon Scott, S, Buffalo -- I was thinking all along that Wilson woudl be the guy to have in Buffalo???? I did not watch the game, so not sure.

What about Jamarca Sanford, DB, for Minnesota? He had 8 tackles, 1 assist in Week 1. If he remains the starter, he could be in for good numbers all year. I don't know anything about him and nobody is writing about him. Could be a sneaky play... If he has another solid game next week, he probably wont be around on any WW.

They basically started 3 safeties in that game from what I could see. He was playing alongside Byrd and Wilson. Normally, I would assume that is some sort of specific package to match up with the offense, but I'm not sure that makes sense with KC. Someone that understands the scheme may have to weigh in with better specifics, but I don't think he took Wilson's job at all.

I am considering, since I lost E Berry, about Cam Chancellor, Malcolm Jenkins at DB

JJ Watt at DL, I like the potential in that defense.

and Sean Lee at LB, then again, who doesnt after Sunday night?

Can anyone tell me if Chancellor is for real, 10 solos is rich! And the Steelers will live in the Seattle D-backfield this week.

Chancellor had a lot of good pre-season buzz and is off to a good start, I was only able to get him in one league.

agree on Sean Lee, he was only available in one league and someone beat me to him

D'Qwell shouldn't have been on the wire to begin with, but if he's on yours, GET HIM. He was out all last year so some people probably forgot about him, but he's top 10 potential, IMO

I picked up Angerer in a dynasty draft, so going to be keeping a close eye on him.

I had Beason, and someone else got Connor, but I probably wouldn't have rolled the dice on him anyway. It's a salary cap league, so there are always good LBs out there on the WW.

IDP Week 1 is always interesting. Good topic.

Considering D'Qwell Jackson, but would probably have to drop Ndamakong Suh. Is it worth it?

League is heavy in Sacks, INT's and TFLs. Tackles don't count for much.

First time in an IDP League. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Prob AC question here, but if your league doesn't require a DT (instead does a DT/DE) then Suh's value drops. Not sure about how much compared to Jackson in your format.
