Burress has not practiced since week one. He will play.

Hell play. It would be more likly to be Moss though, with Steve Smith still hurt i believe. Neither would do more then 3 FP anyway. Plax always plays though. Hes earned his right to heal. Hopefully he gets even better during the bye and does get to practice.

I think Burress will play, but if he doesn't we'll likely see both these guys split time at WR2 with a little more Tyree since (I think
) he is listed as Plaxico's backup at split end.IMO, neither guy however, would even be a good start as Tyree is an overachieving special teamer and a marginal WR and Moss has been all but invisible in his Giants career.I guess I'm saying that if Burress is out, bump up Toomer, Shockey, Jacobs and Ward and consider Tyree/Ward as 5th options rather than a starting WR in your lineup.

I'm thinking his ankle is fine and he is using it as an excuse to miss every single practice for the rest of the season and maybe his career.

) start accross from Toomer if Burress didn't play.The reason for the question, is since he plays on Monday night, if he is a late scratch, I need to have a back up plan. If Tyree or Moss only score 3-5 points, it's better than zero! It's only a problem this week because of the Mondat night game. Sorry in advance to those of you who did'nt like the question. I thought my low four digit number would at least give me some respect in the shark pool!

He isn't going to scatch. He has stated many times that he simply won't practice if he doesn't feel up to it. He has been nursing an ankle injury all season, and hasn't missed a start yet. He didn't practice one day last week, or the week before. HE WILL START, NO DOUBT.

These is nothing on that on KFFL, which is where you supposedly copied that from.......I have looked at every newspaper and media outlet in New York with my RSS reader and there is NOTHING that says Plaxico Burress is out.On way I know it is a fake is that there is no way NY or ATL has declared an inactive list this early in the day.

Maybe, but he struggles with the really tall ones like Burress. Atlanta D has played pretty well this year and hasn't gotten a lot of attention due to the offensive woes. The Giants probably represent the best offense we've faced so far, so I'm interested to see how they do. Coleman is back, and his presence should free up some opportunities for Abraham and Anderson. Manning could see some serious pressure himself. If they can bring that pressure, Shockey and the RBs will get opportunities on the checkdowns.

Bobby Wade was officially "inactive" as per NFL.com, Sportsline, etc....then I see him on the field returning punts?
With all the pregame stuff with MNF I'm pretty sure you'll see Plax warming up and such. Should be plenty of time to make necessary changes if he's in fact inactive.
