IF Shaun Alexander is out.... Pearman? (1 Viewer)

Think there is any validity to this? I bought into it and grabbed Pearman just in case.....

RB Alvin Pearman, Seattle

It seems like Shaun Alexander is on the injury report every week, and each time it is more serious than the last. While the Alexander owner in your league holds onto Maurice Morris, thinking that he will inherit the throne should Alexander the Great go down, those in the know will grab Pearman, who would become the man in Alexander's absence.

Mo seems to be entrenched as SA's backup. He has a nice TD catch in week 1 as well as a few (3) rushes - so if SA goes down why would Holmgren go with Pearman? Does he offer something special?

Honestly, don't know much about Pearman. I lost Deuce to the IR so I had a spot to fill and read this recommendation online. So I posted it to see what others thought. I always thought Morris was entrenched there, but this one guy doesn't believe it to be so.

Holmgren is the type to prefer a known commodity like Morris over a relatively new addition like Pearman. I'm not buying it.
