If you could have dinner with three football players (1 Viewer)

Walt Garrison

Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson

Ed "Too Tall" Jones

i think that would be one interesting dinner.........

my other choice would be

Tony Dorsett

Troy Aikman

Darren Woodson

i'd love to pick these guys brains, and Dorsett was my favorite player as a kid.

Ok since some are listing active/non acitve

Here are my active:

Drew Brees

Peyton Manning

Brett Favre

I would want to eat at a college bar with Big Ben.

Santonio and Mike Vick can come along, as I am sure they are fun to party with.

if I actually wanted there to be food left over so I could eat:

darren spoles

desean jackson

trindon holliday

if i was diagnosed as terminally ill:

rae carruth

marvin harrison

oj simpson

When I read through this thread I couldn't believe no one had said it... but, my #1 on the list:

#1 John Madden The man know's so much about football inside and out and different players on/off the field across several decades and generations. I just think he would make the conversation awesome with anyone else there. Not to mention.. you know he would pull up in his RV with his own tailgate grill and some gianormous turkey legs.

Mike Ditka Again, Ditka knows so much about football and brings so much fire to the conversation. Although you would have to hide the turkey legs from him. Haha

Terry Bradshaw When I think of football I think of Terry. He never really left the sport and he kind of fit's with the above guys in that they all have big mouths and big opinons. Although you would have to shove a turkey league in his mouth and hope he choked on it to get him to shut up. Haha

Honorable mention in order: Tom Brady (young guy.. like him).. Brett Farve, Warren Moon. Both played into old age... the second one broke through racial barriers and might offer a different perspective.

Probably a somewhat different direction...

Barry Sanders, Ricky Williams, Chris Carter. Three who seem to have really loved the game but not let it rule them when they felt the need to quit. I've seen several other great choices here that would also fit that bill!

Mine would be Lawrence Taylor, Hollywood Henderson, and Michael Irvin.

A couple of hotel rooms, some hookers and blow, and a good time would be had by all. (Just think, two of these guys will be in the NFL's 100 greatest players.)
