Minnesota is quietly having a terrific year. They are going to win 95-100 games and are like 43-16 in their last 59 (may be different now).

On the other hand, TX has all that power in the lineup and Cliff Lee.

So which team would you rather face if you are one of the AL East teams?

The Rays have beaten Lee three times this season. The Twins look like the best team in the league at this point. I'll take Texas.

Texas has Lee and a really good line-up while Minnesota seems to once again be doing it with a lot of smoke and mirrors. No elite starter, great bullpen and streaky hitting and the Twins love them some first round exits. I'd rather play the Twins.

If you're playing the Rangers, that means you won the division and will have HFA. If you're playing the Twins, it's on the road.

I want the Rays to win the division, so give me Texas.

Minnesota is missing Morneau also and Texas is more likely to get Hamilton back. Some reports say he's gonna give it a try this weekend.I think its a good point about homefield advantage though, I think I'd want that over any match-up too.
