This is the time of year the bears "wake back up" and get more active. They're seen a lot more because they're hungry and there's nothing in nature for them to eat yet because most of the plant life hasn't bloomed back up....so they head to the backyards for bird feeders and garbage cans. I was about 30 ft from a 400-450 untagged bear this week in my yard. I just slowly walked towards the door and he never bothered with me.
Congratulations, you almost made it to Rhode Island. The worst thing about CT imo is the traffic. 95 especially is a nighmare almost always. That and Long Island blocking the open ocean from you. Good luck!
Important question: where's the cheapest place to buy booze in New England? CT is 20-30% higher than TX.
Willing to travel a couple of hours.
Asking for a friend.
New Hampshire, but for liquor and wine only. The state owns and runs the stores, but does not sell beer. No sales tax and they offer sales that are 10-20% lower than CT liquor stores. We make a day trip up I-91 once every couple months to stock up.
