Im not giving up on _______ ___________! (1 Viewer)

I don't think there should be top 3 round picks in this thread... you never give up on those guys this early in the season. It's a joke posting guys like VJax, Martin, etc.

I'll go with Dobson. I'm scouring every league with bench offers to pick him up. He needed time to catch up with the playbook and get into shape, but is now the starting receiver for Brady. He had some brilliant flashes last season.

Ladarius Green

I have Cameron and will be picking up another backup TE to start but I'm dropping somebody besides Ladarius.

A lot of experts are saying sell high on Gates, and it's only week 2. Gates started out strong last year and faded big time. It can still happen AMIRITE??!?
I will never give up on you, Ladarius!!

Jon Brown

He's barely involved enough at the moment to roster unless your redraft league is deep, but I just feel he'll have a breakout game soon

Is this a dynasty thing? otherwise how many donuts are you willing to let him put up in your lineup while trying to capture his one breakout game?

Mike Evans- Glennon may see action soon and either qb would be wise to utilize the rookie who will benefit from mismatches he presents against both LBs and corners with his advantageous size speed combo. TB oline can't play worse than they have and he's done okay from a ppr standpoint, the Tds will come.

SJax- ATL has not excelled as an offense without a decent power run game particularly near the goal line and Toilolo is obviously not Gonzo. The ATL offense was unstoppable week one and faced a tough cincy D away week two. I expect him to get more touches as he is still recovering from the preseason hammy injury. Double digit TDs still not out of the question.

VJax and WItten. I have each in both of my leagus. VJax got a TD last night but nothing other than that so far. Witten is on my bench week 3 but I am hoping he turns it around.

These two guys may sink both my leagues.

Thread title says it all.. who on your team has disappointed but you still have high hopes for?

For me, Its Eddie Lacy, started semi slow last year and bounced back in a major way. I see him progressing as the schedule lightens up and the offense gets into more of a groove.

Any others?
Reggie Bush, Kendall Wright, Larry Fitzgerald, Danny Woodhead

Yeah I'll chime in:

Tom Brady - week 1 didn't look very good, but in week 2 the game plan didn't call for a lot of passing. NE destroyed minny with defense and running. That won't happen every week. Brady rains my starter. If he puts up another stinker this week I might start to get antsy, but it's the raiders and I can foresee another defensive/running effort while blowing Oakland out of the water.

Justin hunter - the targets are there. The talent is there. The big games will come.

Moreno, Ingram, Mathews - with all of the injuries to RBS already this season it amazes me to see how quickly owners are dropping these guys. They are all quality backs who will have a major role in their respective offenses again in a month or so. I'm holding on to all 3 with my kung fu grip for as long as I can.

Demaryius thomas - 2 relatively slow weeks for a guy that is supposed to challenge megatron for the #1 fantasy wr spot. The good times will come though.

Gronk - like Brady, the game plan didn't favor his usage in week 2. He is getting healthier each week and the outburst will come soon.

Kelce - this guy is on the verge of busting out and becoming a baby gronk. No way I'm letting him go.

Wheaton - he's very involved in that offense. The Tds will come.

Brian quick - I don't care how bad the rams are. They will be playing catch up most weeks and quick is the focal point of that passing game. Again, the Tds will come.

Locker - too early to jump ship. Perhaps Dallas d is a little better than we thought?
80 yard td taken back from Demaryius because a Oline man is a little to far down field is ridiculous. had the play stood Dthomas is top4 and that's with a slow week 1. With Welker Back I think it opens him up more and he starts to dominate.

I don't know if you can put Brian Quick on the list of guys you aren't giving up on. If anything Quick is over performing what we exepcted. I think I get what you are saying is that he is a guy to get because he could be impactful but def with his two 7 catch days week 1, 2 he isn't a guy anyone is looking to give up right now.

Hunter

A lot of my teams the end of the bench has been hunter or quick and need to drop one of them for the ww of the week. Quick is the one to get cut and I have a feeling I'll regret it....
I would not do that you already know you will regret it dummy, drop Hunter do the shark move!
