The Broncos drafting of Thomas over Dez Bryant is a lot like the Raiders drafting of DHB over Crabtree. They fell in love with Thomas' "measurables" and devalued the general consensus opinion that Bryant is a more polished, NFL ready WR.

Not nearly as bad. Thomas went about where he should've went. The only thing that makes it a bad pick is the fact that Dez was still out there.

Thomas has legit #1 wr type potential. He might bust but very few guys have that true star potential and sometimes it's worth taking the risk.

It isn't like they spent a top 10 pick on him.
