I found the last Cabbage Patch !!!!,!
Prob right. But not my parenting style. He may be a cool dad, but I don't think this makes him a particularly good dad. A good dad would teach his children that this person's merchandise is guaranteed to not be worth the trouble he's going through to get it and that they would be better off without it. Instead, he's helping this YouTube personality rip off his kids (and himself).
Yeah, I don't care about my kids hearing bad words.Asked my 10 and 13 year old about him. They said they didn't watch him because he swears too much. I watched the posted vid, he does. Nice parenting. ? Have you watched him before?
3 starred those fools with you this morning while I was on line.I found the last Cabbage Patch !!!!,!

No, but when Stampy has a pop up shop I'll let you knowDoes this guy do minecraft videos? If not, I'm not surprised I've never heard of him. That's all my kids want to watch.

Good on you. My son has a Stampy shirt but we were able to buy that online. No, but when Stampy has a pop up shop I'll let you know
I didn't say you were or weren't a good dad. I don't know you enough to say. I just said doing this doesn't make you a good dad. Cool dad, but that's not the same. Not according to bcdjr
its a good thing my kids didn't know about that or else my ### would have been in light right with you there GB!This is what the line looked like today

Yep, I only see 5am when I been up 20 plus hours.Updated that thread. I feel like drunk Cav right now. Only I'm not drunk
Funny thing about this was by the time I got there, all they had was stuff on the site. But like I said, they loved it and both seemed to be very appreciative. We tried GB. Apparently this merch is not good enough for them.![]()
I saw the episode in question. In this day of recording your life, I do not know where the gray area is I don't think he went in knowing he was going to find a dead person. It was called a suicide forest though.I'd never heard of this dude before seeing this thread a while back. Watching the news last night--I saw a story about him. Sounds like he got himself in hot water for putting up a video showing a person that had committed suicide in a forest in Japan. Definitely seemed like a d-bag thing to post the video. Sounds like he issued an apology but it seems like this might not disappear that easily.

I hadn't heard of this jagoff either. But that was straight up jackassery.I'd never heard of this dude before seeing this thread a while back. Watching the news last night--I saw a story about him. Right on. I don't really understand the big appeal of vloggers/influencers like this--but his apology seemed to indicate that he understood his mistake and was remorseful. Being that you mentioned that you watched the episode in question--and you seem to know a decent amount about him--my question is--does he stream these videos live or are they pre-recorded and then posted? If he posted it after it was recorded and is aware that many of his followers are children--that just seems beyond despicable to me.I saw the episode in question. Still pissed I woke up early. Spent close to $300 on merch for the kids for the holidays. They love this guy. And he has become very rich vlogging.
these are the new TV stars. Same as the teen heartthrobs that were on the cover of Teen beat on your sister's wall collage...just a different medium. Kids/tweens don't watch TV anymore, youtube give them tons of unscripted, uncensored content.Right on. You only have a say until they are like 8 or 9As adults, maybe we should be more discriminating in what we let our kids watch. That's not directed at any individual but the country as a whole.
No, he is not remorseful. He is a greedy, opportunistic dbag. He pretended to be color blind for clicks ffs. Anyone who clicks on his vids or buys his merch should be freaking ashamed.Right on. Videoed and edited. But he does not edit himself. Not that this takes the onus (spelling) off himRight on. He does not need extra clicks. He gets millions a day. Doesn't mean he is not an opportunistic dbag. But it was not for clicks. No, he is not remorseful. He is a greedy, opportunistic dbag. Not really. Parents pay for internet and phones. Spending time with kids and sharing in other forms of entertainment, leisure so kids become able to make more intelligent choices when left on their own. It takes some effort but it's the job of adults to shape kids, not just throw their hands up because a kid turned 9.You only have a say until they are like 8 or 9
My mother felt the same way. She set rules for me like no toy guns and wasn't too pleased when I got into rap music and horror movies as a kid. Influence all you can but kids will watch whatever they want to (and even stuff they don't) unless you lock them in a room by themselves with only what you decide and that's only going to have a rubberband effect. That was the case before everyone had a TV/VCR/Record Store/Walkman/Theatre in their back pocket. Not really. Parents pay for internet and phones. Every parent sets rules and their kids break some of them but it doesn't mean it parents should just give up and let their kids do watch/listen to whatever they want.My mother felt the same way. My 8 year old watches zero tv but watches tons of these dumb YouTube videos. I'll never understand it.these are the new TV stars. Same as the teen heartthrobs that were on the cover of Teen beat on your sister's wall collage...just a different medium. however, yea, in most case, this video was shot and edited before it was uploaded. Thats really the issue. You have these knuckle heads in control of their own delivery platform, so if the kid is dumb enough to film it, you can be sure he's dumb enough to post it. I mean how many idiots are caught b/c they filmed and posted their own illegal activities? Content delivery is in the hands of the star now, not the old TV network executive and his legal team.
