I'm selling TO this week (1 Viewer)

Why Me?

Nigel
I just bought him two weeks ago and he's had a couple of pretty solid games. I thought Romo would target him often and he has - that's why I traded for him. I'm going to try to move him though. I just have a feeling that his antics combined with a Dallas slide out of contention will render him useless come playoff time. He'll end up benched or suspended or something of the sort. Anyone else feeling the same way?

absolutely not...T.O. will be the #1 WR going forward...9 catches????

he should've had the bomb for the long TD....Unless you're absolutely stacked at WR or in dire need of another player, I don't think you'll be able to trade for someone that's going to be better for you. than T.O.

Dude - I'm seriously considering the same. I bought him the week before the Houston game and he's helped me form the best WR trio I've ever had. I share your concerns though, and due to injury and me trading away my RB depth to improve my starting lineup, I'm thinking of dealing him for a solid RB.What kind of RB value I can get will obviously make my decision for me. I have a moderately large advantage right now with my WR's, but my RB's are pretty -meh- at the moment. Sometimes I get myself in trouble by trading too much, so I might just stay put.I think TO has top-5 potential for the rest of the season ... right now I think I'm on the fence if he's worth the risk though.

My situation is identical. I have Holt, TO and Driver as my 3 starters, w/ Edwards and Rod Smith on the bench - decent depth. I have SJax as RB1 and a pile of #### that I rotate as my RB2 so part of this has to do with wanting to balance my team. Under normal circumstances I'd try to move Driver as part of a package for an RB2, but after watching the game yesterday I have a feeling the situation in Dallas will implode before the season ends. By the way, who stole Parcell's ballsack? He literally cowered and walked away when TO was yelling at him on the sideline after Parcell's confronted him after the TD celebration antics. Tuna looks like a broken man out there.I don't know what kind of RB he will fetch, and nobody in my league has much RB depth. I won't give him away, and in that case I'll likely end up keeping him - but I'm worried.

many weeks TO is the only Dallas player out there playing with any emotion or heart. Parcells should look to his overpaid, overrated safety Roy "I Can't Cover ANYONE" Williams and his terrible play calling as the reasons the Cowboys are where they are, because on paper this is one of the most talented offenses assembled in a while. 2 VERY solid RB's and WR's an up and coming QB, a great TE. Really, what more do you want?

Yeah, I'm trotting out Holt, TO and DJax with Rod Smith and Furrey on the bench. I've been rotating Tatum, DFoster and Lamont Jordan with some success for my 2 RB positions. There's a guy looking to sell Chester Taylor or Clinton Portis for some WR help, and I may have to go after one of those guys. In my mind, I'm thinking TO for Portis would be a good trade (for both of us), but don't know if I'm overvaluing my own players.I'm 1 game out of my division lead, but I don't want to jump and make an unnecessary trade ... the thing about it is, if TO makes that 70+ yard catch in the 4th quarter, I have the feeling we wouldn't be talking about trading him away. The TO situation seems to hang on that touchy of a balance. Course, we knew what we were buying into when we got him :D
