I'm sitting C.J. Spiller this week for ___________ (1 Viewer)

You know I had to get a good chuckle I was on youtube watching some cj spiller 2012 highlights and to hear all these buffalo slappys on the message boards 3 weeks ago saying how Spiller was gonna get 30-35 touches a game, break records, have 2500 yards from scrimmage and 60 plus catches, double digit tds and it almost made a tear come to my eyes seeing as I bought into the hype and drank the whole picture of KOOLAID unfortunately, and against better judgement drafted Spiller 1.2 over charles.... wow I miss the good times. Chan Gayley and the 2012 bills don't look so bad afterall.

I have the unholy trinity of t-rich, c-spill and d-will and am considering starting Vernon Davis or TY Hilton in the flex over CJ

unless you have a great alternative, sitting him is madness
I would say, if you have an alternative, starting him seems to be madness.

I am going to use him the same way I am Roddy White right now...sit him until he shows signs of life, then play him. You may have one week where he blows up on your bench, but I would rather have that than continue to start him and get no production.

That's the problem, in fantasy one win can mean the difference in making or missing the playoffs. How many weeks can you afford to run this guy out there and get you 2 points when you can use someone like Bell who has a defined roll? Plus he faces the Ravens run D this week. I think he's bench worthy like David Wilson until he shows he can be consistently productive. The only way I would start Spiller now is if my alternatives were someone like McGahee.

I have wilson and roddy and they have been riding the bench and I think Spiller is headed there to, can't make up my mind. My heart wants to give spiller another go but brain saying bench him. I have to pick 2 out of 3 Spiller/J.bell/Shorts. Im thinking bell/shorts may be better play in ppr.....

Guys....the dude ran for 100+ on 16 carries nine (9) days ago! He had a bad half against a tough D and then got dinged up and didn't play 2nd half. Calm down.

Probably Chris Johnson. But I reserve the right to change my mind if he practices fully at least Friday

Just traded for Spiller this morning, but I'll probably be sitting him for Pierce as long as Rice is out at my RB2 spot, and Julius Thomas as my Flex

Charles is my RB1. I have to decide between Spiller and Jackson as the RB2. At the moment, I am sticking with Spiller.

The early week 4 RB rankings have CJ Spiller all over the place. Nobody seems to know what to expect from him right now.

My RB2 decision is Spiller vs Joique. IF I chose Joique, then my flex decision becomes Spiller vs Miles Austin vs Golden Tate.

Suffice to say, I'm starting Spiller and not getting cute about it. I'm as down on him as anyone but if I am benching him for Joique and Austin/Tate, I might as well throw in the towel.

+1

I'm sitting CJ for either Jordan Cameron or Powell at Flex.

Gotta play him cuz there's nothing better, but seeing this thread is a good sign... usually means some stud who's been underwhelming is about to blow up.
