I'm sitting MJD for.... (1 Viewer)

I'm sure there's solid logic behind this one. One RB is struggling, so you bench him for one who is struggling? nice.
:goodposting: If you are going to take the time to criticize someone at least get your facts straight before pissing in the shark pool. MJD has accumulated 22 touches and 101 yards rush/recieving combined through two weeks. After 'struggling' against a very tough SD defense on the road in the first game of the season, Benson had 101 yards rushing in week 2 alone and has a total of 163 yards combined through two weeks. Despite a poor week one Cedric is actually in the top 20 in rush yards and top 30 in fantasy points through just two weeks and oh by the way Benson has twice as many touches as MJD with 45, and he doesn't have a veteran like Fred Taylor or Thomas Jones to share the workload...
Thank you for sparing me the effort of having to explain this. Benson has been significantly better in my league's scoring system.

no problem  I love MJD, but would probably start Benson as well if I were in your shoes. Cedric will never have MJD's high YPC or receiving opportunities, but he is the undisputed workhorse back on arguably the best team in the NFC, and he seemed to have a nose for the endzone last year when given the opportunity. IMO if he stays healthy he will score double digit touchdowns in his sleep.

I'm sitting MJD for...., Who are you replacing him with?
Portis. After last week when I expected MJD to have a decent week, he will remain on the bench until my other top RB's are on a bye. There appears to be some serious issues with the Jags Oline.ETA: My other starting RB's will be Parker and Bush. And Bush isn't far behind MJD when it comes to being exiled to the bench in favor of a Flex WR/TE.

I'm starting MJD this week--with confidence.

Think about this for a minute. If you are the Jaguars coaching staff, are you really going to be designing an offensive gameplan this week to attack Denver (Champ Bailey, etc) through the air? No! Especially since both the Bills and Raiders had success running the football against the Broncos. MJD and Fred Taylor should both get quite a few touches this week. It's a no brainer.

I just traded Benson for Drew. Why?Benson is dog poop. All you need to do is use your two eyes. MJD is stronger, quicker and faster. He'll do more with less. Don't forget: Benson has already been benched once this year!
