I'm starting _______ over Peterson this week (1 Viewer)

Hmmm

Belichick will shut down Peterson and force whoever is playing QB to beat them. Might want to consider if you have someone like Cadillac Williams on your roster.

Ok, Ok...I meant Leon Washington. This week is his week to break out!Surely, I jest. However, Peterson is in for a tough day vs. NE. I recall one thread last week touting Mathews as a great play. I warned the OP last week that NE is no slouch against the run and has only allowed 1 rushing TD this season. I see no reason why they can't keep that going against MINN.

I'm thinking Bad Mo is onto something. I am gambling with Mr. Starks in Green Bay. Peterson is a really smart sit this week!

I think you could be onto something as well. I'll pick Starks back up and plug him into my starting lineup over Charles hoping he gets activated just before the game. Crazier things have happened this year.

 
I don't think there is a "unsittable" RB right now. I seriously considered sitting CJ last week and starting both KC backs. Didn't have the stones and it cost me. Hey, this is a game. Go with your gut and have fun.

 
And to answer the question, "No ONE."

I'm starting no one over Peterson EVER. Even when AP is on a bye, I'm strongly compelled to keep him in the lineup in case he scores points while idle. He's that awesome.

Last time I overthought and sat AP was back in 2007. I have blocked out whether it was the Bears game (224yd + 3TD) or the Chargers game (296yds + 3TDs), but I don't sit AP anymore. The potential for him to explode against any team is just too real to ignore.

 
A guy in one league actually picked up and started Kitna last week claiming that the Giants would knock Romo out of the game given their history of doing that to QBs.

He ended up winning his game because of that move. I'm still in awe.

ETA: crazy things have happened this year

Wow that takes some balls... who was his other QB?
 
I remember his rookie year, another website suggested sitting him against the tough Chicago defense. I think he went off for like 200 yards.

AP will NEVER be benched!

 
i remember when the folks who owned Chris Johnson talked about sitting him against the steelers back in week 2. not too many had the cajones to sit him and the steelers held him to under 50 yards.

as for me, i might sit ADP against a team like the steelers but not the Pats. he is indeed unsittable this whole year, imo.

 
I wouldn't sit Peterson vs the afc/nfc all star team with jamarcus russel as the starting qb. if peterson plays, he stays in your lineup. period. the overthinking people do is ridiculous, like that guy who's thread was about the saints using chase daniels instead of drew brees. guppies.
