I just want to see how the Shark Pool responds. Gore does have a favorable match-up against the Saints, but, some people here seem to be scared off by Gore.

I considered starting LenDale White over him this week, but I just couldn't get myself to do it. He's due for a good game. I didn't want him to be on my bench when it happens...

I'd rather take a 0 then get caught with my pants down when/if he plays and have him riding some pine. I got burnt last week with Brandon Jacobs, although it was my fault as I left for the beach prior to game time, and it's not going to happen again.

I also have Chatman, but am not putting him in over Gore... unless I hear some worse news before 1, which I know isn't likely.Witsh the NYG-MIA game was at 4... but I guess that would put it at like 10 PM in London.

I likely *will* be starting LenDale over Gore this week. LenDale has a juicy matchup with the Raiders, and while Gore's matchup is nice too, the deciding factor for me is that ankle injury. I know Gore's a gamer and all, but given how awful SF's offence has been, and the iffy play calling (Gore's not getting the ball enough), and an ankle injury, I'm rolling the dice. And for the poster who'd rather take the 0 than get caught with their pants down, I'd rather play the percentages. If Gore was healthy, I'd leave him in probably. If I get caught with my pants down, so be it.

I am very surprised at how many of these people are starting Gore over another GOOD running back that WILL play FOR SURE. He is probably truly 50/50 to play and could play poorly or go out early. I would start Lendale or Portis or KJ or Benson over Gore at this point. He may not even play at all, he could have a bad game, or he could have a good-to-great game AND he was downgraded on Friday. If some of you have 12 noon roster lock, it is a dangerous move to start Gore over another solid option IMO.

EDIT - Mort is saying GORE WILL PLAY.

It's not whether or not he'll play for me, I'm sure he'll start. I'm worried that he won't finish, or at least be far less effective than he can be, due to the ankle.
