I'm Starting Harry Douglas over ________ Week 15 (1 Viewer)

Julio owner here.

My other options are Landry (who apparently will get covered by Revis) or Montcrief (i'm kinda unsure since I will also start Herron Luck and Hilton... Surely four Colts is too many)

I have Douglas stashed but not very confident. I may just stick TO Montcrief

Really close with Martavis and Marquess Wilson in over Douglas at the moment. May change though, safe floor with Douglas as a possesion receiver. 6pt TD non ppr.

I just picked him up so my opponent wouldn't get him but seeing what everyone else is doing maybe I should throw him in over Martavis.

I have Ryan, White, and Douglas.

After that crapper Tre Mason put up im seriously thinking of sitting Cobb and putting all of my money on ATL offense lighting up the Steelers.

Either Douglas or Jordan Matthews.

I'm thinking Matthews is the play here.
I'm going the opposite way... just moved Douglas into the starting lineup. It's certainly close and I wouldn't fault anyone for staring Mathews. Since both games project to be high scoring I'm leaning towards Douglas because ATL is probably going to rely on the passing game while PHI is probably going to try to run the ball like they did 2 weeks ago against DAL. Add the fact that the Steelers secondary is playing so poorly and Douglas has had some good games in the past while filling in for Jones/White. Again, it's close but I'm going Douglas.

I would start Douglas over Martavis in any kind of PPR league without issue.

Standard formats are more of a debate. Especially if you're behind in the projections. Would probably ride Bryant's boom-or-bust factor in that situation.

I'm starting Douglas over Moncrief, but I'm a lot less confident in him than some here. No way I would start him over Matthews, Gordon, Crow, Herron, etc.

Interesting. Have Jordy, Maclin, and Benj in now. Examining if I should put Douglas over Benj. in a .5 ppr game. Benj has stone hands and could CAR get a lead on TB like they did NO and run a lot? I think ATL will have to pass in a shootout with PIT. OTH 3 of Anderson's 4 TD passes this year have gone to Benj.

League 1 (1/2-point PPR, 1 point for 25 return yards)

Starting Douglas over Martavis Bryant and the Jags receivers (Lee & Hurns).

I half-entertained Hester here as well as he'll be spotted 4 points from return yardage and could see a half-dozen targets himself with Julio out.

League 2 (standard scoring)

Starting both Douglas AND Martavis Bryant (FLEX) over Lee, Marquess Wilson and Boom Herron.

Might have considered Herron if I was protecting a lead but I got hurt substantially by Mason/Rams DST on Thursday and no longer have Julio this week, either.

So playing for upside.

Douglas in at my flex over Charles Johnson, Mike Wallace (afraid of Revis, regardless of reports), and Kelce.

Even if Mike Wallace won't be on Revis Island, I still may pull him in favor of Douglas (PPR). Also could put Douglas in for Decker. Harvin is apparently active, so Decker may not be a target-hog today.

I like Douglas over Decker. Decker hasn't been that great lately and NYJ will probably try to run a ton. ATL will be passing. Douglas just posted a 9-116-0 line two weeks back.

two leagues, one starting over LaFell and Sanu (no brainer)

Other still on fence. Choices are him, Ingram, Jennings, Coston in a flex spot

Only 28 yards at half time for Douglas. Hopefully the game script in the 2nd half with ATL down by 13 will force them to throw the ball a lot.

Anything more is a bonus at this point. 10 points in a PPR league for a WR3/flex dart throw seems pretty good to me.

20 points currently.

As of now, he's a better start than Jordy.
Yup. I was sorely tempted to sit Jordy for Douglas once JJ was announced as out because BUF showed its mettle at DEN. However, GB has been so hot I thought that even at home the BUF D would be hard pressed to stop 'em. Goes to show ya. So wasted Doug's 20 on the bench for Nelson's dud. Argh. Well at least I kept my opponent from getting him.

I guess you guys are just smarter than me. Glad I didn't have Gordon or Crow to play over him!

Anyone going with Roddy and Douglas if Julio is out? I'm thinking of putting Douglas in at the flex, over Landry, Charles Johnson, Wilson and Crowell in PPR. I'm wary of Landry being covered by Revis, that take away Johnson's 65-yard TD against the Jets and he's been right around 3 catches for 40-50 yards each of past three, that Wilson has never done anything and will be playing in the rain, and that Crowell splits carries and doesn't get any catches.
Doubling up on Roddy and Douglas worked out well, especially since get 5-pt bonus for 100 yards.

Should have played Douglas instead of Jordy and Calvin so far. Matthews is yet to play but this is absurd today.

Thanks Stafford, Jordy and Calvin.

Nice play today guys. This guy seems to deliver when called on. I wonder if he could play WR2 for several other teams or when Roddy departs...

Douglas is the perfect example of why you do not leave players on waiver wire. Pick them up as a block if you don't need them. Last year at this time is was Asiata. How many of you lost because your opponent grabbed Douglas. and could have had him but " didn't need him". Blocking is a legit strategy and not doing it cost championships

Picked up Douglas and Marquess Wilson as blocks this week for that precise reason. Opponent went with Moncreif at their WR3 and fortunately that worked to my advantage.

Started him over Charles Johnson, should have started him over Calvin Johnson. If I end up losing, A big #### you to Stafford, Lombardi and whoever the HC is. Actually a big #### You anyway.
