The USC football program, from top to bottom, is head and shoulders above any other program in the country. The sportswriters and polls ought to just pencil these guys in #1 every year, it's that simple. I don't see any team playing with these guys this year, nor for the next couple of years either. This team will crush Georgia on any field, and any other so-called elite team in the country right now.

Pete Carroll's system is ultra-sophisticated when compared to these other college teams. They made the Buckeyes offensive and defensive sets look very basic (hike it to Prior and let him run) in comparison to their combination routes, o-line blitz pickups and offensive formations, as well as the defensive fronts and blitz packages.

Until these other programs take some notes, they will simply be outschemed every time they face USC as well as outmanned, which is the scary part. J.Laurinaits, allow me to introduce you to the best LB in college football, R.Maleauga.......

So are you sitting Big Ben in the bad Cleveland weather or sticking with him? Also, Chris Johnson or Lynch?

You'd think that would net them more than one NCAA Championship over the last 10 years

USC was bailed out by referee's penalty flags. Best 12th man on the field.
Give me a break. USC is a little over hyped, as Sanchez looks a bit shaky at times, but USC dominated Ohio. Penalty flags had little to do with the final outcome. Ohio simply could not move the ball against the USC defense, especially after the first half adjustments. Ohio could not have won this game if it were on their own field. <== That's a "period."

Give you a break? I think USC definitely would have won the game especially w/ Wells out, but some of the calls were clearly one-sided. First off, OSU would have scored not once but twice but were flagged for phantom holding penalties (if those were penalties, then why wasn't USC flagged for the same but more obvious ALL GAME LONG). They ended that drive missing a field goal try. the fumble was a joke. I don't think it could have been more obvious OSU came up w/ the ball, especially after the ohio state guy who recovered the fumble handed the ball back to the ref. Ray mallawahawhatever's pick. He stepped out at the 5, period. I still think USC would have scored, but to have a review and come away w/ the ruling on the field? Like I said, I thought going into the game USC was going to win. I would just like to see if it would have been a different ball game had the ref's been a little less one-sided on their calls (If OSU couldn't move the ball why did they lead in time of possession and total yards at the half?) All in all, if the right calls would have been made, maybe it would have been a different game or at least one to watch. I think the better team won and caught some lucky breaks w/ the zebra's whether they needed those breaks or not.

I remember hearing this same thing a few years back and some Texas team came into the Rose Bowl and took care of business.

I watched the game last night. The Trojans would be able to beat all but 8 or 9 of the SEC teams quite easily.Beating Ohio State is not an accomplishment.
