Been diggin' this one the last ten days

It's Making Me Mad.....
I had this at #22 - I love how different it is from any other Beatles' song and how it shows their musical chops - also love the abrupt ending.

When I was in college me and two other friends drunkenly in a bar decided we would fly out to San Francisco the next morning. Unlike most late night drunken promises we followed through. When we were in a cab we took from the airport, this song came on the radio, and the driver reached for the dial and asked if we minded if he changed it.All three of us shouted "NO" in unison, He sheepishly said he liked the song but found it too repetitive. What a dummy.

This thread has been awesome but it should be over already. It feels like Star Wars to me and we’ve reached the prequel stage. Getzlaf= JarJar.

Krista Rank - 179

I guess we have a Tier line here.....  we just jumped from 38 to 44 total points.    This is the last song to appear on only two lists.  There is only one more that appears on three lists.

This all kinda makes sense as a constant theme here is that almost all of us could change like #10/15 to #65, on any day.

I'm with Krista on this ranking..... sorry GB MOCS

I have nine lists in.      Going to cut it off tonight, so send one if you would like to win $100 for your fave charity.

Don't know if it's been mentioned in here, but there's a Podcast called One Plus One, and the first 6 episodes are on John and Paul as a songwriting duo and how that relationship developed over time.  I'm through a few of them.  It's a pretty interesting listen so far.

I'd rather see you dead?
What can I say, I'm a sucker for songs about abusing women.

As I said earlier I take this song more as tongue in cheek and playing against their good boy image but after krista listed it with her apprehensions I do regret ranking it so high a bit. It still rocks though.

Even though the lyrics are somewhat shocking by today's standards and, unfortunately, John wasn't the best dude to the women in his life, this is one where I am so overcome by the musicality that I can't help but love it.  The part where they get to "that's the enduh, little girl" is one of my favorite 13 things in any Beatles song.

Had not been mentioned.  Going to check it out during today’s workout.  Thank you!!

I know it's really about Paul and Linda, but I like to think of the "Two" being John and Paul.
I think I mentioned the same thing in my write-up, or at least I meant to.  I always picture this, too.
