Overall, Brady was sacked twice and hit six times
Aww yissPatriots CB Brandon Browner expects to make his 2014 debut in Thursday's game against the Jets.
I would think there is no chance they being back Law Firm, at this point Boldin is the better back. Gray might become a factor at some point this season. The injuries are piling up again, the Mayo one sucks. I think they can survive the Ridley injury, Bolden could be just as effective as Ridley and if not I am sure there are a few free agents that
might. Bring back the Law Firm?
I think BJGE is done, he got beat out by literally everyone on that cincy team. Honestly, I think they are gonna tweak the offense from a 60/40 Ridley/Vereen to a 50/30/20 Vereen/Bolden/White. I think they are gonna give White a bunch of opportunities to beat out Bolden, but no one else on their roster really compares size-wise to Bolden. I think they might bring up Jonas Gray from the practice squad. The injuries are piling up again, the Mayo one sucks. I think they can survive the Ridley injury, Bolden could be just as effective as Ridley and if not I am sure there are a few free agents that might. Bring back the Law Firm?
Connolly and Stork due back soon - should likely get better. It looks like the O-line is playing a hell of a lot better than they did a few weeks ago.

Through 7 games last season, Brady had been sacked 20 times. Through 7 games this season, he's been sacked 13. #Patriots

Akeem Ayers is a legit talent. Was out #4 ranked OLB last year. Perhaps best in a Von Miller type role. Fit in NE intriguing to watch

~ PFFJordan Devey, LG: -6.4
Breakdown: A couple of penalties never look good on the stat sheet, but it was the ease at which Devey was beaten in pass protection that explains this grade. The Patriots either need to get him more help or continue to expect their quarterback to take a beating, with Devey responsible for three hits.
Signature Stat: Gave up five quarterback disruptions. Rest of the line would give up six

Patriots signed DL Alan Branch.
Branch, 30 in December, had a career-best season for the Bills in 2013, notching 39 tackles and grading out as a top-ten run-stuffing 3-4 end at Pro Football Focus. The Bills signed him to a three-year extension last December, but Branch mailed it in after the season, getting comfortable. He failed his conditioning test to open training camp, was arrested for DUI 14 hours before kickoff of a preseason game, and was then released. He's always played well against the run.
The sky is falling talk radio crowd yesterday had them going 1-5. Maybe 2-4.Tough 6 games upcoming, thankfully the Bears at home kicks it off. Brady will step it up a notch. 5-1, or 4-2.
I don't know that I'd expect him to shadow anybody, but I'm just throwing darts. So does the island shadow Marshal?
wasn't cincy a division leader when we blew them out?Prediction for the next six games, 3-3. And I would be happy with that. 2-4 wouldn't shock me, 4-2 would. I still can't believe the crap we are throwing out there on the D-line every week. Next year we'll probably address that, Revis will be gone and our DB's will suck. TG we are in the AFC Least.
yeah, that would be my guess, tooI don't think Revis will be in man for even half the game, but when he is probably Marshall or Jeffery, whichever one is healthier.
http://itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports/newengland/football/patriots/2014/10/22/time-check-tom-brady-getting-more-time-to-throw-leading-to-patriots-success-last-3-games/Despite using three different starting offensive lines the past three games, the quarterback has had an increasing amount of time in the pocket to throw each of the last three weeks. By our count, against Cincinnati he had an average of 2.16 seconds from snap to release, then 2.24 against Buffalo, and finally a season-high 2.58 seconds last Thursday against the Jets.
According to Pro Football Focus, last Thursday was the most time from snap-to-attempt Brady has had since Thanksgiving of 2012 in the “Butt Fumble” game.
To this point, Brady has had his three statistically best games of the season the past three weeks — throwing for 292 yards and two touchdowns against the Bengals, 361 yards and four touchdowns against the Bills and 261 yards and three touchdowns against the Jets.
The increased amount of time is coming following the blowout loss in Kansas City when Brady had an average of just 1.96 seconds to throw by our count, and had 17 of 24 plays (71 percent) where he took less than two seconds to release the ball. In comparison, against the Jets he had 12 of 37 plays (32 percent) where he took less than two seconds.
So your prediction for the 6 game gauntlet is..................?wasn't cincy a division leader when we blew them out?Prediction for the next six games, 3-3. And I would be happy with that. 2-4 wouldn't shock me, 4-2 would. I still can't believe the crap we are throwing out there on the D-line every week. good thing we're not in that division.
hard to make a case for the sorry jets camping at the very bottom of our division at 1-6 ---- they already played 3 nfc north teams from the upcoming sinister 6, and lost all 3.
by 1 score.
oh yeah, and they played denver, too --- had the ball down 1 score with a minute to play.
buffalo is turible, right?
oh yeah, they already beat 3 nfc north teams --- 2 of them on the road.
but, miami.......
oh yeah, nevermind
Glad you aren't playing on the teamI'm hoping for 3-3. Would be ecstatic if it was 4-2. Just keeping my expectations low.
Update: A 4th league source says Revis overslept Tues morning. After being sent home, Revis returned to facility to apologize to Belichick
when I first heard about the getting sent home I was thinking adalius thomas and how he was going to sour and we'd be screwed --- can't believe how awesome that guy is to go back and apologizeCould've been worse:
