Are the Patriots carrying Jim Schwartz off the field?

Jesus...

Pats injury report

Conolly OUT, Concussion

Stork OUT, Concussion
Ebner OUT, Finger
Fleming OUT, Finger
Ridley Out, Knee
Mayo Out, Knee

Probably won't see Stork until Week 8, Conolly probably week 8 also, maybe week 9.

Easley, Browner, Collins, Hightower and Chandler Jones all limited - might see Browner this Thursday.

Gronk not on the injury report at all.

Got a tweet later from @DougKyedNESN (Covers the Pats) saying that actually only Ridley and Mayo have been officially ruled out. Its a possibility Stork or Connolly might play.

The injuries are piling up again, the Mayo one sucks. I think they can survive the Ridley injury, Bolden could be just as effective as Ridley and if not I am sure there are a few free agents that might. Bring back the Law Firm?

I would think there is no chance they being back Law Firm, at this point Boldin is the better back. Gray might become a factor at some point this season.

I think Mayo is really overrated, seems like a great, hard worker guy but I think they will be fine without him. Everyone is replaceable except for Gronk and Revis.

I think BJGE is done, he got beat out by literally everyone on that cincy team. Honestly, I think they are gonna tweak the offense from a 60/40 Ridley/Vereen to a 50/30/20 Vereen/Bolden/White. I think they are gonna give White a bunch of opportunities to beat out Bolden, but no one else on their roster really compares size-wise to Bolden. I think they might bring up Jonas Gray from the practice squad.

Losing Mayo ####### sucks. You watch any of those games this year, at the end of any defensive play you will see Mayo within 5 feet of the ball - he will be sorely missed. That being said, between Hightower, Collins, Skinner and White I think we'll be fine. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we went after Beauharnais on the skins practice squad. He narrowly made our 53 man until BB decided for whatever reason to only roster 5 LBs :scared:

They are calling for a ####storm of rain this Thursday - should be exciting. Hopefully we won't have more than one season ending injury and the Jets swear they are sticking with Geno.

Disappointing game, Pats offense were on the field half the amount of time the Jets were, Collins continues to struggle against the run, didn't utilize Tyms OR Wright, Browner's debut was very lackluster.

Rough six weeks ahead, Bears, Broncos, Colts, Lions, Packers, Chargers - brutal.

It looks like the O-line is playing a hell of a lot better than they did a few weeks ago. My fear is that the D-line isn't fixable. I hope I'm wrong.

Former 2nd round draft pick (39th overall) for the Titans in 2011, had offseason surgery on both of his patella's. Apparently the deal was that they simply swap 7ths... Titans convinced hes done I guess?

Last year of his deal in Tennessee, just didn't fit their roster, or they didn't believe he was as good as their other talent.

Hoping Ayers can stay healthy. We still need some help on the D-line desperately. Also would love to see them snag V-Jax but I know that's wishful thinking.

Jordan Devey, LG: -6.4

Breakdown: A couple of penalties never look good on the stat sheet, but it was the ease at which Devey was beaten in pass protection that explains this grade. The Patriots either need to get him more help or continue to expect their quarterback to take a beating, with Devey responsible for three hits.

Signature Stat: Gave up five quarterback disruptions. Rest of the line would give up six

Call Michael Sam, he said half seriously?

Edit: Pats Signed Alan Branch who was released during the preseason from the Bills.

Patriots signed DL Alan Branch.
Branch, 30 in December, had a career-best season for the Bills in 2013, notching 39 tackles and grading out as a top-ten run-stuffing 3-4 end at Pro Football Focus. The Bills signed him to a three-year extension last December, but Branch mailed it in after the season, getting comfortable. He failed his conditioning test to open training camp, was arrested for DUI 14 hours before kickoff of a preseason game, and was then released. He's always played well against the run.

Prediction for the next six games, 3-3. And I would be happy with that. 2-4 wouldn't shock me, 4-2 would. I still can't believe the crap we are throwing out there on the D-line every week. Next year we'll probably address that, Revis will be gone and our DB's will suck. TG we are in the AFC Least.

wasn't cincy a division leader when we blew them out?

good thing we're not in that division.

hard to make a case for the sorry jets camping at the very bottom of our division at 1-6 ---- they already played 3 nfc north teams from the upcoming sinister 6, and lost all 3.

by 1 score.

oh yeah, and they played denver, too --- had the ball down 1 score with a minute to play.

buffalo is turible, right?

oh yeah, they already beat 3 nfc north teams --- 2 of them on the road.

but, miami.......

oh yeah, nevermind

I don't think Revis will be in man for even half the game, but when he is probably Marshall or Jeffery, whichever one is healthier.

Despite using three different starting offensive lines the past three games, the quarterback has had an increasing amount of time in the pocket to throw each of the last three weeks. By our count, against Cincinnati he had an average of 2.16 seconds from snap to release, then 2.24 against Buffalo, and finally a season-high 2.58 seconds last Thursday against the Jets.

According to Pro Football Focus, last Thursday was the most time from snap-to-attempt Brady has had since Thanksgiving of 2012 in the “Butt Fumble” game.

To this point, Brady has had his three statistically best games of the season the past three weeks — throwing for 292 yards and two touchdowns against the Bengals, 361 yards and four touchdowns against the Bills and 261 yards and three touchdowns against the Jets.

The increased amount of time is coming following the blowout loss in Kansas City when Brady had an average of just 1.96 seconds to throw by our count, and had 17 of 24 plays (71 percent) where he took less than two seconds to release the ball. In comparison, against the Jets he had 12 of 37 plays (32 percent) where he took less than two seconds.

So your prediction for the 6 game gauntlet is..................?

While its possible, I don't think we go 6-0 over the stretch, but I do think 4-2/5-1 are likely. Really the only team I'm worried about is Denver, just too talented offensively, the other 5 I think have one weakness or another.

Could've been worse:

@BenVolin

Update: A 4th league source says Revis overslept Tues morning. After being sent home, Revis returned to facility to apologize to Belichick
when I first heard about the getting sent home I was thinking adalius thomas and how he was going to sour and we'd be screwed --- can't believe how awesome that guy is to go back and apologize

btw, he was at practice today

ON TO CHICAGO!!!!
