Inflatable Christmas characters on front lawn -- tacky? (1 Viewer)

My neighbor has one up alongside his front sidewalk.  I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be santa standing up in the front of his sleigh, but at first glance it really looks like some kind of chicken-centaur.

Will effort to get a pic.

I got these this year because my house is green and I thought it would look good with the red lights against the house and you know what, I was right. Now those lights that are pictures of snowflakes and the like, pure trash.

It's this, but the reindeer don't light up, so as it gets dark they become basically invisible, leading to the santa-chicken-centaur effect I mentioned earlier.

The two sides are so far apart that's just life.  Doesn't change the fact that the overuse of Christmas inflatables needs to be stopped.

  The howling pigs and Santa Swan literally have me in tears right now..  And yes, now I will never NOT see howling pigs again. What a great thread.  I hate inflatables. Think they are just terrible.
