I was for it back when, but after watching these clowns/refs screw calls up even after getting a slow-mo look at it, I'm tired of delaying the game just to get it wrong anyway. I say get rid of it, what says The Pool?

after some of the decisions a few crews come up with after watching a replay, its pretty amazing that they get that many "full speed" calls right...then again the ones who seem to make the strangest decisions are the ones who seem to make the goofiest onfield calls as well.

bottom line is the idea of replay is s good one, but you'd think they could have some off field crew making the decisions instead of the same guy who just blew it on the field. I want it to stay, but it's not currently implemented well IMHO.

while I'm discussing this, does it amaze anyone else that there isnt a tivo for every camera shot in a lux box at the stadium with 12 or so guys whose sole team job is to double check every play that is questionable? when you pay guys millions to catch the ball, a few thousand to make sure you challenge only when it makes sense would seem cheap. I realize it would take some cooperation to get every camera fed to a "team tivo" room, but I'm sure the TV booth already has this (at least the production room). simple concept to eliminate a lot of the "gee, that looked closer on the jumbotron" we get every game...

It slows the game down, some of the rules involving it are illogical, there have been occassions that calls that were initially correct on the field are reversed by IR and there are cases where it can kill a team's momentum in the last 2:00 it and can effectively give a team a timeout when they don't have anymore.

Football was just fine for many years without IR, I would be all in favor of getting rid of it.

Simplify it.

No more challenges from coaches or teams. All replays come from the booth.

Replay is only used within 2 mins of the half and game, and on all TDs.
