That Howard kid sounds like true psychopath.  Better he be locked up now then be allowed to grow up and become a serial killer.  As a dad of a black son in a predominantly white area I can imagine the emotional pain the family must feel.  Just awful for their so to have to endure all that mess.

I'm sad to say that racism is still very much alive and well in America.

Apparently last weekend, a local minority family had their house ransacked, racial slurs painted on their walls and all of their clothing bleached.  The only reason I heard about it was that their 2 kids (1st and 2nd graders) go to my wife's school.  The press wants to run with it, but the family wants it private to protect the kids.  I know I live in a dominantly white area (like 98%), but I've never even heard of this kind of crap going on.  Sick stuff.  

If the allegations in the above article are true, that 18 year old should be in jail for a long time.

Yeah, that's the Howard kid, the ring leader.  Can't seem to shake this story, it's clinging to my mind today.  The breach of trust, the breach of friendship, the breach of teammates, the lack of empathy from some on the coaching staff, it all comes down to a bully trying to destroy someone.  

God I hate people sometimes.
