INT by Brees? (1 Viewer)

Did anyone watch the end of the Saints-Buccs game? Bree threw a jump ball in the end zone and it looked like Bradley McDougald intercepted it, however the ref called it incomplete and that was the end of it. I watched it again and I thought it was a clean pick, as both of his feet appeared to come down in bounds. Does a play like this get looked at at all? I figure it won't since it has no impact on the game, but I have McDougald and I'm playing against Brees and that's a huge play for me. Even if it's incomplete, how not a pass defensed? Call me desperate if you wish, just curious about it is all.

Do you think it can be changed without there being an official review that changes it? Which I would think would have to happen right away.

Not so sure about that but even then it's a pass defensed. I'd rather move on, it's honestly not a big deal but looks like an INT to me.

A play like that won't be changed. It was called incomplete on the field. The officials could have reviewed the play at the time if they wanted to but it didn't matter since the game was over. Elias doesn't come in later and say a pass was complete, they correct stats like the wrong guy being credited with a sack or a QB sack being changed to a rush for loss of yards, things like that.

Never say never I guess, but I'd be really surprised if they did anything with that.

Yeah, what I figured. I didn't really expect it to be changed to an INT but I feel like they could call it a pass defensed, since it's not like the refs have to declare that on the spot.
