That would be nice.care to provide some more detail?
Jaws actually has substance that he contributes and is willing to criticize the Eagles, neither of which can be said about Irvin.Jaws is openly an Eagles homer and I don't see any threads bashing him over it.
What's so wrong with this? They were talking about the Sunday night game between the Saints and the Cowboys and about how good of a game Payton called, and Irvin says, "Why'd we let him- why'd the Cowboys let him go in the first place?" He caught himself and could only laugh at how big of a homer he is for the Cowboys.
perhaps when he uses the pronoun "we" when referring to the EaglesJaws is openly an Eagles homer and I don't see any threads bashing him over it.
I have no problem with Irvin using "we". Unlike most fans who use that term when describing their team, Irvin actually PLAYED for the Cowboys. Not only played but was a star on a team that won 3 Superbowls in 4 years.perhaps when he uses the pronoun "we" when referring to the EaglesJaws is openly an Eagles homer and I don't see any threads bashing him over it.
Nothing wrong with it IMO, Irvin's done plenty of things wrong within his role as a talking head, but this isn't one of them. What's so wrong with this? They were talking about the Sunday night game between the Saints and the Cowboys and about how good of a game Payton called, and Irvin says, "Why'd we let him- why'd the Cowboys let him go in the first place?" gee that's swell. FYI, now he's a (cough) analyst.I have no problem with Irvin using "we". Unlike most fans who use that term when describing their team, Irvin actually PLAYED for the Cowboys. Problem is, he's getting paid to be an impartial analyst now.Look, it's just further evidence that he is wholly incompetent to handle this gig. This, alone, isn't the issue. It's the growing body of evidence (that we already knew before he got hired, but that's another story) that points to his inability to adjust to the professional requirements of the job.I have no problem with Irvin using "we". Link to impartial analysts on ESPN? They all get paid to have a shtick. As previously mentioned Jaws is a blatant Eagles or QB homer. Irvin is a WR/The U/Dallas homer. Madden is a whomever is playing well that night homer. Very few of these big name guys are really impartial analysts.Problem is, he's getting paid to be an impartial analyst now.Look, it's just further evidence that he is wholly incompetent to handle this gig. I don't see anything wrong with this. There are plenty of other things to criticize Irvin about.
That's not entirely fair. Irvin is willing to criticize the Eagles.Jaws actually has substance that he contributes and is willing to criticize the Eagles, neither of which can be said about Irvin.Jaws is openly an Eagles homer and I don't see any threads bashing him over it.

Jackson is quite possibly my favorite analyst on tv. I think he does a great job. I also like Young.Phlash said:
Who said he is being paid to be impartial? He isn't a freaking judge, he talks about football games.I think he is a tool in general, but if this bothers you, you must be on a fishing expedition.cobalt_27 said:Problem is, he's getting paid to be an impartial analyst now.Look, it's just further evidence that he is wholly incompetent to handle this gig.
