Is AJ going to toy with us again this year? (1 Viewer)

Any word on this guy and his groin/hammy/knee. This guy has all world talent but can't seem to stay healthy. I took him this year and I am allready sweating it out with his injuries. He was there in the 4th rd of a 12 team redraft so I thought I couldn't pass him up. I guess the other guys in my league didn't want to mess with him. Any news from any Texan homers about him and what are people here projecting for him this year?

Steroids are interesting in that they strengthen the muscles without a corresponding strengthening of the supporting tissues.

I'd also like to know how he's looking right now...I've been offered Brandon Marshall+ for AJ+ and I'm seriously considering moving him.

While last year was AJ's first real season missing any significant time I'm still concerned that he's a bit nicked up right now.

Bzzzzzt. He's played sixteen games three out of five seasons. He missed three games a few years back and seven last year because of a knee injury. This notion that AJ can't stay healthy is way overstated.Scores of players, WRs especially, are nursing that mysterious sore hammy...because it's preseason. Don't read too much into this. From Monday's practice report: “We are going to count on him playing in the [Dallas] game,” Kubiak said. “I think I said yesterday, he will have to be 110% for me to put him out there. All systems were go today - when we came in here on the turf, we pulled him out.”

Wrong. While it may be true for many AASs' (anabolic/androgenic steroid)...Stanozolol (Winstrol) does infact strengthen soft tissue (ligaments and tendons). While its a "known" among humans, research on dogs and horses have proven* its effect.

Also, HGH (human growth hormone) has an outstanding overall effect on the human body, including the soft tissues.

It promotes soft tissue repair - though joints are known to be "achy" while using HGH.

The problem comes from overpromoting muscle with a lack of attention to the joints and soft tissues.

i.e. ignorance, lack of knowledge or abuse.

Andre in the fantasy world has reached the status where it is always something that stops him from being dynamic for an entire season. Ya know Carr, the previous general suckitude of the Texans, and his injury last year has left many owners with the idea that something is going to happen. Injury was the last thing so it is the easiet to throw out.
