Is anyone disappointed with the Dolphins? (1 Viewer)

As a Dolphins fan, I am glad they finally won a game. I can whole-heartedly admit that they are a horrible team, but reading posts and hearing week in and week out how bad they are and whether or not they go winless was getting tiresome. Now, we can just be another bad team, instead of the worst team ever.

I wanted to see it.

But I was also impressed to see professionals making millions still performing like professionals making millions, e.g. giving a full effort.

What was the stat I heard yesterday - they've lost something like six games by three or fewer points?

I wanted it so bad I could taste it. Would've been great to have an undefeated alongside a winless season (especially for those '72 Phins).

Actually my primary dream was to see the 0-14 Phins beat the 14-0 Pats next week.

Now I'll just have to settle for an undefeated run to the SB while Brett "greatest QB of all time" Favre beats the Pats in his final game. :yucky:

I guess you can thanks the smartest guy in the world... well at last according to him. Brian Billick. 4 and inches in the goaline with Troy Smith moving the ball... why not go for the winning touchdown and win the game right there? Once I seen Balt kick the FG I knew they were going to lose in OT.

I was thrilled to see them get a win.I don't understand the rampant predisposition to want other teams to do poorly.
I don't think it is wanting to see other teams do poorly (at least not in my case). I just like seeing history and it would have been history. That said, all credit to them for sticking with it. It shows something for that team to get that win yesterday.

I was excited to see them win. I was also hoping they would go 0-16 to hold the moniker of worst team ever. Either way is fun.

Right now the '72 Dolphins are getting drunker than skunks, because they're still the only team with a perfect record for a season.

Part of me is bummed cuz 0-16 woulda been interesting.

The Bengal fan in me is a bit relieved that since we play them the last week and if they were 0-15 I would have deep deep fears about my boys losing that game since they aren't exactly great at handling adversity.

:sadbanana: Sadly, they're going to beat us anyway. They may be the better team right now.

I'm so friggin disgusted. I could spit!

Damn you Miami Dolphins! Damn you. Way to ruin a perfect season for millions of football fans.

That might be true, but I think the pressure will be off the Bengals at least. I think our chances have improved with their win. And Chad playing in his home town ought to give us a better shot IMO.-QG

I'm happy they won a game. Watching how excited they were to get a first win was a cool moment. I don't know how something like that couldn't make you smile.
