Is Brandon Jacobs roster worthy? (1 Viewer)

Looking to see what you all gauge Brandon Jacobs worth at right now? He isn't even in an RBBC any more as Bradshaw has completely taken over and done quite well. Is this a situation where Jacobs is only valuable as a handcuff or is there a possibility of some real fantasy points this year?

I can't see it. For whatever reason, he has a really short fuse. At first I thought he'd use that 'chip' to show something on the field yet he hasn't been able to channel it. Seeing that, I'm not sure what he has left in the tank. Buyer beware.

He's clearly just a handcuff at this point since Bradshaw was in at the goal line (even though he didn't help his cause by fumbling at the 5). Roster size and situation determines if he's rosterable. There are definitely handcuffs with much higher ceilings though, Scott, Ringer, Brown, etc.

The Giants offense, defense and special teams aren't playing very cohesively so far this season. Till the offensive line starts playing to it's potential, Jacobs won't be reliable. He ran better vs. the Titans, but didn't see many carries because the Giants kept killing drives, so there weren't many short yardage situations or times that Bradshaw needed a breather. Jacobs still needs to prove he can run the way the Giants want him to. He'll be lucky to see 10-15 touches a game till the Giants start sustaining drives.

I'm a Bradshaw owner who saw Jacobs hit the waiver wire this morning. I'm contemplating putting in a waiver claim for him, but I'm really not sure how valuable Jacobs would be if Bradshaw went down. Jacobs looks slow, the Giants O-Line isn't what they used to be, and it looks like the Giants might be playing from behind a good bit this year. That's not a good recipe for Jacobs' success even with Bradshaw out of the picture. Is Jacobs even worth holding onto as a handcuff?

He had 5 touches last week and 4 the week before. He'll be lucky to see 10-15 touches a game even if the Giants start sustaining drives.
