Is ESPN MNF countdown always this bad? (1 Viewer)

I have heard people complain about these guys (Emmitt, Keyshawn, Parcells) before. This is the first time I have been able to watch it this season, and I have to agree. This is just terrible. Both Emmitt and Keyshawn say Alexander is struggling because he got paid and is all about the money.

Then Parcells doesnt even know who the RB for Denver is. He seems to think Mike Bell is the guy there.

Sad.

with so many retired players out there, you'd think they could find a couple of people who speak better. i rarely watch it anymore, but was listening for injury updates tonight. i hate to admit, but i think keyshawn does a decent job on-air.

In Parcells' defense, he didn't say that ALL RBs were disposable. He did single a few out as being special, including Emmitt Smith. Generally speaking, he was right, though.

One thing I like about that show is that all of those gusy are straight shooters. Keyshawn and Parcells in particular are not known to hold back.

The eye doesn't bother me, he does though. He's just plain annoying. His whole schtick with his stupid sayings and his awful poems that he's done on Sportscenter.

I enjoy the coach segment when Mort asks Parcells and Ditka the week's hot button questions. The two of them do not hold back and it makes for great tv.

I actually think this is one of the better teams in recent years with the exception of Emmitt. Keyshawn is suprisingly good, and I just like Bill Parcells for better or worse. He adds value to the show in his own respect even though he may not know every player in the league. He adds a respectable coaching perspective that is necessary. Look, after watching the train wreck that is NBC GREEN DAY footbal nights whatever the #### they call it. Countdown is a breath of fresh air. I don't have NFL Network and not willing to fork over the money for it, so I can't comment on their analysis anymore.

The main thing that bothers me about Emmitt is that his tie doesn't even come down to his belly-button.

Can't someone point this out to him before he goes on live television?
