Is it bush league to bench Seattle defense? (1 Viewer)

If you bench the Seahawks, and there is a stat correction on Wednesday and you lose by 1 point, do you promise not to come here and cry about it?

Good points about a possible stat correction getting you.

What's the worst game so far, fantasy-point-wise, for Seattle this season? What are the odds they score you negative points?

Yes, it is bush league. And unless your league has some heavy defense penalties, the chances of them putting up a -3 are very small.

Don't get the bush league comments. If league allows you to bench a player and take 0 why not do it? It's within the rules.

Just opinion. I think, regardless of what the rules state, that people expect others to field their best players at every position when possible. It's a personal call if the animosity this move might create is worth the slightly higher guarantee of the money though.

If it was a defense like Arizona and I was actually worried about a negative game because their offense can give a team 21 points I would bench them but there is no way that is going to happen to Seattle, roll with them and be happy you won.

Our league allows it, I would do it. We had one guy leave a defense in a got -5 and lost :lmao:

I guess I'd imagine this scenario has happened in that league before or at least been discussed and everyone is ok with it. I agree if its a league with friends and would cause bitterness given the high stakes I'd reconsider. But I'm in a league with friends of similar pot size and if my opponent did that I'd be fine with it.

Anyone else having flashbacks to the great "Playing Joe Webb as a WR in Yahoo leagues" controversy of Aught-Ten?
