Is it possible that the FFA could follow the actions of Facebook and Twitter and flag or delete fake news intended only to incite? (1 Viewer)

I've had a couple of Facebook conversations with a guy I went to high school with. Most of what he posts is pro Trump or anti Liberal. I have a cousin that's the same way, I finally put him on mute.
Today my high school friend shared a post about Anthony Pappas. The meme stated "Hi I'm Anthony Pappas. I'm the only person challenging Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for Congress. She just bailed out on a debate against me because I'm an economic professor and I would have destroyed her socialist position. Please meme me into office."
I didn't know who Anthony Pappas is. So, I did a little research and responded with the following: What office? What debate? At this time, he's not running in 2020. He lost his GOP support in 2018 because his ex-wife filed assault charges against him. The government seized the money he put in campaign account because he hadn't paid his ex-wife nearly a million dollars he owed her after their divorce. The only reason his name remained on the ballot is because it was too late to reprint ballots. I guess he doesn't understand economics (or the legal system) all that well.
His response: Well I guess he’s not a good choice then. What is with that district. There has to be at least one intelligent person with common sense there to run for office.
I've used Facebook a lot to learn and stay informed through military parent's groups. The spread of misinformation is terrible. People need to stop sharing things until they do a little homework.
As the famous quote goes, Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

The only way this makes sense is if SPLC itself has been flagged, which is a long time goal of the alt right.

I'm reading challenged. From where does the SPLC reference come? It's entirely possible my eyesight is failing me. I assume SPLC = Southern Poverty Law Center, who by the way lack credibility in my estimation.

The ad in question contains the picture and headline taken from an SPLC article about Stephen Miller. (Maybe that's why it was taken down? Copyright infringement?)

Yes it's Southern Poverty Law Center. I think SPLC has been pretty controversial, for instance they go out of their way to label folks and groups as hate groups who maybe don't deserve it, and IIRC their leader may have been controversial himself. But I don't think that merits getting banned just for their content being linked. I know Zuckerberg has been meeting with conservative groups and my guess is that they have their own blacklist. But I also don't think some far right sites like Gateway Pundit or Conservative Treehouse or Zerohedge and the like should be automatically banned. Fake news has a specific meaning or should IMO. However maybe there's some neutral explanation like MT explained and people have taken the wrong reason from it.Mister CIA said:
