Is it time to pull the plug on Rivers? (1 Viewer)

I seem to remember that this turd had some good games last year. Is the replacement of Marty by Norm the end f this offense? Even LT has been held out of his typical stratosphere. Is it because of the studly defenses they have faced the last two weeks? Or is Rivers really just a pedestrian QB?

The Chargers have played probably the 2 toughest defenses in the NFL. Now is not the time to trade any Charger.

:sadbanana: The opened against the best passing defense in the NFC, then followed it up with a road game against one of the best defenses in the AFC (other than their own  )Give him a chance - he'll be solid.

The Chargers faced 2 defenses that I firmly believe will finish the season in the top 5 or better.

On the other hand, Rivers looked horrible in the first qtr. Throwing a pick with your first offensive play of the game is inexcusable. However, there is so much firepower on this offense, you have to wait at least a couple more games to give them a chance to come on.

word I kind of figured that would be the response I got. I figure with the talent that he'll be gicing the ball to, he should be fine. Anyways my only other option is Eli, so I will be sticking with Rivers for at least another week or two.

Wow, talk about panic. You mind trading him to me?
also, I'm not necessarily talking about dumping him, just looking for other options till their offense starts to gel a little.

Eli and Rivers - a little irony in that combo. Just play matchups with them until one (hopefully) settles in as the clearly stronger guy. Eli may be that guy as his atrocious defense probably means they'll keep throwing the ball.
