is joey harrington (1 Viewer)

I would say unless he wins a game he will be gone in a few weeks when Culpepper is fully healed. And I don't think Joey is a winning qb. He is a pick machine. If you need a couple week filler he will put up good stats only to throw that game losing interception making it impossible to be a long term solution

I think right now he is better starting QB than a few QB's among the league. Dynasty leagues may want to consider holding on and hoping he gets traded.

WW in my league. You can find a lot better qbs imo.
400 yards=best3 INT=worst(or one of)Depends on league scoring.Week before 199 yards in 4th quarter. There is no way(statistically) there is "alot" better QBs.IF "IMO"=gut, sure I can roll with that, his career is quite under-whelming. However, he deserves your attention in FF. In one league I have him just to have him. INTs are only minus 1 pt so he rocked last week. I may never have the cujones to start him but there's no way I'm losing to that or leaving a 400 yard passer on the WW. Suppose you didn't know it was Joey.IMO if I asked everyone on this board they'd all say "yep" you can't leave a 400 yard passer on the WW. When I reveal it's Joey, people change their mind. That's a major flaw IMO. FWIW I probably did the same thing with Rex in preseason rankings but I'll be darned if I'm gonna do that again.Keep an open mind

I was under the impression that Culpepper was pretty much done for the season? Maybe I just have the wrong impression?

I don't think so medically. Joey's not sitting just yet though.

Joey is a fantasy gold mine (depending on scoring). The guy throws 2 INTs early in the game which guarantees the team will be playing from behind. This means tons of opportunity, lots of yards, and hopefully a few TD's.

Note: 1 league I play in has no penalty for INTs.

If you are in a league that only penalizes 1 for INTs or nothing for INTs, he might emerge as a decent starter - I'd prefer a guy with a more cohesive offense. Maybe Leinert or Smith are safer bets.

The past 2 weeks: Joey = dodgy NFL QB ... Excellent FANTASY QB.

Spearheaded me to 2 huge wins the past two weeks. One big $ local gives 2 pt. bonus for 300 yds., 5 pts. for 400. Those 7 points negated the -6 for the 3 picks.

As mentioned earlier, he is fantasy gold when playing from behind. True, he is usually the reason (for the deficit), but ya gotta take the bad with the good.

Points matter in fantasy, not reputation.
