Singletary is an idiot.he started but it looks like he still splits time with Bryant Johnson. What's confusing is the fact that Jason Hill got a lot of reps today. If you were to run down the SF WR ranks, you would think it would be...BruceMorganBattle (slot)Bryant JohnsonHillFor some reason, Jason Hill was on the field for the 4-WR sets and I saw him in on a couple 3-WR sets at the goalline. Looks like Singletary is shaking things up.Was Morgan even on field today?
Mike Martz runs the offense. Singletary probably had nothing to do with Josh Morgan's playing time.Singletary is an idiot.he started but it looks like he still splits time with Bryant Johnson. I saw that, and you might be right.Morgan dropped a easy catch at the start of the game, that might of had something to do with the playing time.
oh come on now...the pre-game AC forum in this thread was just as enjoyableplease see mineLove these Sunday evening hissyfits
What happened to all the hype on this guy? Two weeks ago he was The Next Big Thing™, and now he's all but forgotten. He's only owned in 8% of ESPN leagues (compared to 81% for Issac Bruce) and FBGuys don't even have him ranked among the top-65 WRs.
Think about that for a moment: there are 55 other starting WRs this week, and FBGuys believes Morgan will be outscored by all of them -- plus at least 10 guys coming off the bench! All this despite the fact that he's playing against the #28 fantasy defense this week!
I'm not posting to "call out" the people doing the rankings -- I'm doing it to point out how quickly a guy can go from obscurity to the spotlight and then back to obscurity again.
And if the #28 fantasy defense does what it's supposed to do, he'll be back in the spotlight on Monday morning.
Flash in the pan... Great dynasty potential, but, not right now. What happened to all the hype on this guy? Two weeks ago he was The Next Big Thing™, and now he's all but forgotten. It's easy to say it on Saturday night, but it's much harder to say it on a Monday morning after the guy goes 5/86/1.Flash in the pan... Great dynasty potential, but, not right now.
Make that Tuesday. He plays Monday night.I'm still hopeful for him long term. And if the #28 fantasy defense does what it's supposed to do, he'll be back in the spotlight on Monday morning.
Of course it's easy to say on a Saturday night, beam and diet coke will do wonders for the fantasy football mind. It's easy to say it on Saturday night, but it's much harder to say it on a Monday morning after the guy goes 5/86/1.Flash in the pan... Great dynasty potential, but, not right now.

Hill is just as talented as Morgan. I'm excited to finally see Jason Hill get an opportunity. He hasn't got much PT, but looked good in the preseasonCouple of notes:Jason Hill - WR Nov. 8 - 12:27 pm et Niners WR Jason Hill will fill in for Arnaz Battle (foot) as the No. 3 WR Monday at Arizona.Coach Mike Singetary says he's excited about his young receivers, Hill and Josh Morgan. Receivers coach Jerry Sullivan also hinted that the opportunity could lead to an increased role for Hill if he impresses Monday. Dynasty leaguers should monitor Hill's performance Monday night.Source: Santa Rosa Press Democrat
