Is Kevin Smith a guy worth picking up? (1 Viewer)

From all reports that I've heard, Kevin Smith is almost ready to come back. Currently, Jahvid Best is battling an injury (as he has throughout most of his time in football), and Maurice Morris is not the kind of guy that really "wows" anyone.

I have a feeling that he should probably be a good handcuff for Jahvid Best owners, but I'm wondering if he may be a good pickup regardless. What are your thoughts?

You'd have to be pretty desperate IMO.

Coming off major injury- Check

Bad offensive line- Check

Bad match-up- Check

Most likely splitting carries- Check

I'd rather gamble on starting Chris Ivory or Ryan Torrain if I was playing the RB lottery this week.

I was thinking of it as a more of a long-term thing than a week 4 gamble. Toe injuries seem to linger.

Long term I would definitely go with Kevin Smith. He is finally 100% healthy and may surprise on the upside.
Don't agree with 100% but do agree that he is worth a pickup. MoMo isn't going to get much and I see Smith playing the primary backup very soon, maybe as soon as this weekend.
