Is Kyle Orton Becoming a Weekly Start? (1 Viewer)

There is only 2 teams I sit my QB for "IF: I have a decent option and thats Baltimore and Pittsburg. I have Flacco and I am starting him over Orton. But its back to Orton next week and the rest of the year. Sure Orton could have a 300 yard 2 TD game but the odds are he will not and got to play the odds a bit. Now if my backup is Josh Freeman or Max Hall etc I am going Orton all In. and Orton is a QB1 and if he stays healthy the stars are aligned for him to have a magic fantasy year. No Running Game, a top core of WR and a coach who likes to throw.

Some how I have not put him in yet. I used Kolb W1 until the suckage was apparent, then put in Vick who is now hurt. So 2 games I got 0 from my QB. I wish I had started Orton every game. Now this week when I need him badly he is @BAL. Can't catch a break this year. I have my season in the very incapable hands of Shaun Hill right now. Aint that a *****?

i would still start orton over hill even at Balt... he is gonna surprise he could have 300 and 2 tds against bal easy

In my 2QB-start keeper league, I was debating between keeping Orton or Alex Smith as my QB2. The deadline for me to choose was the same day as Denver's third preseason game, so I watched it closely. I saw how well Orton controlled the offense, how quickly he was making reads, and how accurate his throws had become, and I decided to keep Orton. Best choice I've made this year, by far. If I didn't have Peyton on my team, he'd be my QB1 - as it is, Manning and Orton are both must-starts for me.

I could use a qb, owner if looking for Finley from me.Been sitting on it all week but couldnt pull the trigger.

Seeing some of these other Orton trades, is the guy in my league asking too much or are the other deals not enough for Orton?

I traded for Orton after Week 2 & will start him every week except this one vs Baltimore. I don't trust Eli, but he just has a much better match-up.

How many ppl are going to say Orton really suck if he gas a bad game against Baltimore?

He is looking like a much better QB this year, better throws, stronger arm. I am leery this week just because he might get killed by the Ravens pass rush, but after this week and the jets next week I don't think there is much reason not to start him as a QB 1 until he proves otherwise.
