Seattle's run defense is statistically the second best in the NFL at 76.2 yards per game (Pittsburgh is 1st at 62.3). Is that run defense really that good? Their yards per carry (2.7) is also very good. Their pass defense is 2nd to last at 302 ypg. Are teams abandoning the run and just passing against them?
Their 4 games so far have been against San Fransisco (49 yards on 19 carries), Denver (65 yards on 38(!) carries), San Diego (89 yards on 21 carries) and St. Louis (88 yards on 28 carries). No really great running teams in there. Any insight from people who saw the games would be great.
