Is Seattle DEF droppable? (1 Viewer)

I'll admit that I bit early and often. Likely would be romping in most of my leagues if it wasn't for the Seattle D putting up zero to negative points most weeks. 26th in sacks, 25th in INT, 0 Def TDs (Int/fum). Conceivebly the worst ff def in the league.

They've scored less than Jax in my league and next to last in avg. per week yet it says they are 99% owned. Surely people will start dropping them I would think.

27th in my league. Going to try hard to pawn them off from someone but I'm getting rid of them. Going to target Indy.

I have one guy in my league who is obsessed with names. He holds on to players who suck because they have an elite name... He is in dead last and will not drop Seattle no matter the cost. Each league has those owners and its a great benefit to all others in the league.

Been in FA for a couple weeks.

I guess the question for some is if they're worth picking up because of the schedule. To that, I'd say probably, but it's no slam dunk. This isn't last year's historically good defense. That team worked so well because all the parts fit and worked together so perfectly. With QB pressure a thing of the past due to their personnel moves offseason, the DB's are overworked, which in turn forces gaping holes in the zone, game after game. If they can't be counted on to stop the Rams' third stringers with the game on the line, you should be iffy on starting them moving forward.

Skeptics had been saying all season, "Hey, at least you know they're going to get some kick return TD's!" Well, that ship sailed. This is just a bottom dwelling unit for now. They don't have the athleticism to stay with receivers across the field for long enough to make up for the lack of pressure, and injuries are taking a toll.

There are smarter choices out there for every week D's. They can still be a good stream/matchup choice, I think. But hardly best of breed.
