Is Shane Vereen even Rosterable in Deep Dynasty (1 Viewer)

What is everyone's opinion on Shane Vereen? I'm in a 32 team Dynasty League and I'm even thinking of dropping him. Is he even worth holding on to??? Looks like Ridley has a good hold on the job and Woodhead is doing decent enough at 3rd Dwn stuff. I mean Vereen was hardly hurt at CAL. Now in the Pros. Rookie year (Hamstring issue that lingered) Now in 2nd year. Hurts his foot on one of the first plays of the game in Preseason game 2 in his 2nd yr. What gives?? Does a player just become injury prone once they get to the Pros? I don't get it.

I would hold him if you have room. I want to see what, if anything, he can do on the field. If he's good, there will be room for both he and Ridley to contribute. Health *may* be all that has held Vereen back, but it remains to be seen whether he's as talented as many, including myself, thought he was coming out.

i'd hold. their run heavy offense is not working out very well. if they decide to pass like they did in the past, vereen will start to get more work. i like him for dynasty. i think he can become a sproles-lite next year when welker leaves.

Depends on who else is available. I'm holding onto him in a twelve team dynasty, but that's because I don't see much on the waiver wire worth dumping a 2nd round RB on yet. I'm willing to drop him (and tried for Andre Brown, but got outbid), but I'm not willing to drop a guy drafted in the 2nd round on a potent offensive team for one week wonders or scraps until he's healthy. Of course, if someone like Brown comes along at a price that is right, I will drop him in a heartbeat, but he's as solid as any other deep sleeper at this point.

Dropped in my 22-man roster league. I will be all over him next week when available. One of the few young RBs with high upside that is cheap right now IMO

I think he's worth holding onto in leagues with 12+ teams as long as you believe in his talent. He's the most talented and complete RB on the Patriots IMO, but it's going to be hard for him to get many touches as long as Ridley doesn't completely struggle. However, they have a tough schedule coming up with Seattle, Baltimore and the Jets during the next 6 game stretch, if Ridley struggles in those games it could give Vereen an opportunity to get a few touches and show what he's got.

I'm holding him in a 12-team high stakes redraft league so I'm pretty sure he's very rosterable in a 32-team dynasty league. Is this a serious question?

People really cut highly drafted RBs on an explosive offensive team in their 2nd year in your dynasty league?

I just need an RB that is healthy and gets PT. And Alex Green, Royster, and Vereen just aren't cutting it. So was thinking of dropping Vereen to get J. Bell DET RB or LaRod Stephens Howling RB. Thats only reason I was asking question.

10 team dyno = unrostered. But some guys are that shouldn't be - Pead, B. Pierce (Rice owner...but still), Gerheart (NOT the ADP owner).

After this past weeks game, I am thinking Vereen gets upgraded in the proper formats. He looked good in the game, had the highest YPR of the 3 NE RBs used and has the pedigree of a 2nd round pick. Definitely think he's worth rostering in Dynasty now, and I might even give him a go in redraft if you are really short on RB. He could see more work as the year goes on if the staff liked what they saw this week. Is he a good blocker? I think that would add to his value if NE tries to change things around in their offense as it has been a little ineffective.
