Is Sidney Rice eligible for the draft after this season? (1 Viewer)

We are currently holding our developmental draft, in which only draft eligible players (i.e. mostly juniors and seniors) are available to draft. There has been a discussion about the status of South Carolina WR Sidney Rice. Does anyone know if he will be able to declare after this season, if he chooses?

I believe he can.

Edit to add:

You'll note here that he was redshirted his freshman year. He graduated HS in 2004, meaning he would be 3 years removed from his graduating class at the end of next spring. IIRC, that would make him eligible to be drafted. As a Gamecock fan I can tell you that, barring an injury, I'd be shocked if he didn't declare.

He is RS soph this so he will be three years removed from high school and eligible to declare for the draft.

Look out for Cory Boyd as well. Rice is a Top 5 pick.

Go Cocks.
