Is Steve Smith out this week or is this just more great Shark Pool rep (1 Viewer)

I think it's unknown at this point. I heard he "tweaked" his other hamstring. If I were to venture a guess, I'd say he plays.

It's sounding more and more like he's going to be a decoy out there.
tidbit from kffl...Panthers | S. Smith a gametime decision for Week 1Thu, 7 Sep 2006 11:21:50 -0700ESPNews reports Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith (hamstring) will be a gametime decision for the Week 1 game.

I just took him out of my starting lineup in favor of Javon Walker. That means he'll not only play, he'll have about 185 yds. and 2 TD's. Enjoy.

Local news here in NC just reported Fox as saying Smith will be a game time decision.

Ugh.

No I don't have him and am not playing anyone that has him this week.

Just got this email from a friend...not sure what the source was.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers All-Pro receiver Steve Smith missed his third straight day of practice Friday with a sore right hamstring, and is doubtful to play in the season opener against Atlanta.
