Is there really a lot of RBBC this year? (1 Viewer)

I know that there has been a ton of talk over the last handful of years on how so many NFL teams have gone to a RBBC. But looking at it a bit, it really doesn't seem like most of the league has installed a true RBBC this year. I know that some teams have horrible O-lines, or some teams just throw the ball all day, but it seems like there are more primary RB's than we think:

Ariz - They go with a primary RB (if anyone is healthy).

Atl - Turner again this year

Bal - Ray Rice

Buf - RBBC

Car - RBBC

Chi - Pretty much Forte. Some Bush at the goalline but not a true RBBC

Cin - BJGE when healthy

Cle - Richardson

Dal - Whoever is healthy at the time gets the bulk of the work

Den - McGahee

Det - LeShoure. This could go either way since Bell has been getting more work

GB - They pass all day but they do go with a primary RB.

Hou - Foster

Ind - It was Brown, but now Ballard

Jac - MJD and now Jennings

KCC - RBBC (who knows why)

Mia - Reggie Bush

Min - Peterson

NE - RBBC. But Ridley has gotten his share

NO - RBBC

NYG - Bradshaw

NYJ - Greene

Oak - McFadden up until now

Phi - McCoy

Pit - whomever is healthy at the time gets the bulk of the carries

SD - Matthews - but one could argue that Ronnie Brown is stealing too much.

Sea - Lynch

SF - Gore

Stl - RBBC now

TB - Martin

Ten - Johnson

Was - Morris

So I actually count 24 teams that don't really utilize a true RBBC, with Detroit and San Diego on the fence.

Just an interesting tidbit since there is nothing else for Monday morning besides a normal DMC injury.

How is SD not a RBBC? Mathews plays 1st & 2nd down, Brown plays 3rd down and 2 min offense, Battle gets goal lines.

Also Miami is looking like a full blown RBBC the last couple of weeks.

Also, last week INDY was clearly RBBC but this week Brown got hurt.

Giants starting to loook like more of an RBBC

Detroit is clearly an RBBC

Arizona WAS an RBBC while Beanie & Williams were healthy.

If yesterday's game is any indication, Green Bay seems to have a RBBC situation with Green and Starks now.

Some good responses here. Yes....some of the recent games may have dictated a RBBC, but it just seems like there are a lot more teams that did not go full-blown RBBC for the entire season thus far.......as opposed to what most were thinking for this year.

I think Miami and the Giants are RBBC now too.

Pittsburgh and Green Bay also.

Pittsburgh hasn't had more than one healthy the last few weeks. If all are ever healthy, you will probably see at least 2 contribute to carries and a 3rd get the receptions. Green Bay is starting to look like it will be a split between Green and Starks.
